David and GoliathWow Paid a premium price, but received a substandard customer service, Faulty modular board but was expected to pay for it even though it’s a manufacturers detect. The engineer told me they were having problems with this board, It’s a manufacturers defect he told me he tried to ring his managers to get my bill cancelled but nothing so because he knew it was a manufacturers defect he only charged me for the modular board, even though I should not paid anything-but I had to pay £73 still to replace the faulty part but luckily I managed to not have to pay £150 callout so all in all it would’ve cost me £270 ish with VAT Try to resolve this through customer service absolutely awful many months trying many phone calls and 17 emails but nothing I was dealing with I assume he was the manager Head of customer experiences UK from the office he was very defensive and aggressive in his manner of dealing with this and would not budge wasn’t interested always defensive no customer relation customer focused service whatsoever and the customer service some of it’s in the UK and some of it is in America and you have to wait some time to get a response Unfortunate And unfortunately, when you talk to one person, I don’t know what the other ones said. There’s no correct or adequate record taken So you have to explain yourself every time when you ring up . I Contact the CEO I got the same reply wasn’t interestedFantastic products you do pay premium price but goods are really nice but customer service is really really poor. I would save your money and buy a different product with more reputable company.I’ll be very surprised if I do get response with the experience I’ve had so far and I’ll probably obviously being on the platform they’ll change their tune. Let’s see.. good thing we have Trust pilot because with big corporations they just become too powerful and bullies are not interested they just think I’m David and their goliath people don’t matter. And one of the faults they come out to fix still not fixed the door alarm if the doors left open the alarm doesn’t go off all the time when you don’t quite shut the door and it’s open a jar the alarm doesn’t go off still it’s done on magnets and I think the temperature when they come out to fix as well replacing the board, the temperature keeps fluctuating up and down I have to alter it manually still not good. I’ve not contacted them regarding this because of the aggressive nature. I feel quite sudden by the whole experience disappointed more.
This was my 1st time requesting a Fisher & Paykel engineer (fridge freezer is now 4yrs old so can’t complain). Service has been brilliant from start to finish. Quick response to book in the appointment via telephone. A follow up call to say there was a cancellation slot sooner than my original appointment. The engineer Ash was fantastic, very professional, answered all my queries, replaced the necessary part, even flushed through the new lines for me and sold me 2 new filters to save me paying p&p buying online. Very happy with the service from this company.
Dan was a great guy. Pleasure to meet and extremely helpful. Very efficient and was able to fix not only the wine fridge but was willing to listen and provided a fix for our faulty fridge too. He provided a great service and really happy with our product. Good to know if there’s an issue the company will sort it.
I can only recommend Fisher & Paykel as the go to brand and company for super service. Their product look great and their aftercare is second to none. Steve the tech engineer was very helpful and took the time to explain everything so I knew how my new kit works. Many thanks Steve!
