Review Time
A glass cooktop was installed in my new build home. Within 11 months—as the sole occupant with minimal use—I was wiping it down when shards of glass started breaking away from the bottom left third section, near the burner. The cooktop is still under the two-year warranty. When I first contacted Customer Care, I was told it would be covered and replaced. But when I went to book a technician, another staff member requested photos. Then, predictably, I got the standard response:“Our technical team has reviewed the images and advised that the breakage is not due to a manufacturing fault.”So, according to them, a brand-new stovetop shouldn’t last more than 11 months? Appalling. Zero customer service. Zero accountability. And no option to escalate my complaint. After searching online, I found numerous complaints with the same issue, in the exact same spot. This is clearly a design flaw, not user error.Avoid this product at all costs.F&P Case #07758516
Our dishwasher had an ongoing issue, but the service we received from F+P Service Dept was excellent. The problem was more involved than first thought, but they persevered until it was solved, with prompt and punctual calls, and explanations of the procedures each time. Thanks to engineers Aaron, and in particular to Senior Tech Dean for their work and for informing us what the issues were, and what was done to rectify them. Its good to know that good old fashioned service still exists, and that the customer is valued. The appliance is excellent, and after this repair,we look forward to more years of use from it.Thank you F+P👍🏻
