I bought a Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro, touted as beginner friendly and minimal set up needed.Fundamental issue: the only slicer which seemed to produce reliable files was Flashforge's hacked version of Orcaslicer (no profile for the .25mm nozzle so that's useless). First problem, they hadn't properly installed the nozzle so when I started the calibration as per the instructions, it gouged massive chunks out of the printing plate. Flashforge sent a replacement plate but the printer was out of action for two weeks while the plate sailed over from China.I managed to print several small discs, 2mm thick, everything seemed easy enough then moved on to terrain pieces.I was using a filament heater and Flashforge's own brand filament, freshly opened so no environmental damage. The printer stopped feeding filament at random points during prints. Flashforge's response "the extruder assembly has failed, you need a new one.".I bought a new one direct from their site, same issue.Contacted support, response was "the extruder assembly has failed, you need a new one." They ignored the fact I'd already replaced it.Another assembly and £75 later, same problem. They sent me a replacement, same issue but still the party line was "the extruder assembly has failed, you need a new one.".No option for a refund as apparently they've taken so long repeating the same line over and over that I have no warranty or option for a refund. The printer is now a massive brick taking up shelf space until I can get it to the tip and dispose of it properly.I'll be getting a Bambu instead when they're back in stock.
Absolutely fool Company. The printer was problematic since day 1 I tried to make it work, nothing was successful. I tried to contact the customer service that made me write back and fort a bunch of emails, and in the end I didn't get to have the printer replacement not even pieces to repair the poor quality stuff they sold me. I'm very upset and frustrated. I spent money, time and lot's of effort for nothing. The worst part is that they assure good quality and warranty but they don't. Didn't even let me have a refund. I disdain the company all of the products and workers. Insane.
Received 3d printer. Cable was cut to heated bed. Followed by multiple start up problems. Trying to return it for nearly 2 weeks but cannot get information from them to arrange return. Absolute shocking customer services. Ended up disputing transaction as getting nowhere with them.
ATTENTION! I made a purchase of 5 thousand euros of goods by paying by bank transfer to the IBAN indicated by FLASHFORGE which also confirmed having received it. But after nothing, FLASHFORGE disappeared after having collected the money via bank transfer without ever having sent the paid goods.
I got a flashforge adventurer 3 about 3 or 4 months ago and it has problems with connecting to my wifi even with the correct password. Flashforge's aftersales team is pretty mid. They have solved the problem but it took a few days. It is a decent printer with good build quality when it works, but for how it has been, it is totally not worth 400 dollars. I could buy a better printer like a creality ender 3 for 200 dollars less, but with better quality. Edit: THEY ACTUALLY HELPED ME MY PRINTER FINALLY WORKS IT JUST NEEDS AND UPDATE FROM A USB (at least for me)
Please do not buy Flashforge products - they will break and there is absolutely no help from support. I have for several days been trying to get a qualified response to a problem under warranty, but the answers I get from their support has no relation to reality....it is so bad that it is actually funny.Luckily the dealership in Sweden 3DPrima.com make up for that with good response time and qualified personel. My support flashforge support ticket is 94092Update:Flashforge has actually sent me all the parts for me to fix the problems. These parts are new motherboard, build plate, nozzles. I am puzzled why I have to do the repair myself with the spareparts provided for me, but as the printer is quite bulky I am fine with this as I have the skills to replace the parts.
As someone else mentioned, while the product is in some cases quite exceptional the after sales is possibly the worst around. Really slow in answering if at all, a lot of my questions never were answered. I bought 2 machines from them that I could no longer source consumables for them before they were a year old. The machines themselves are great but not cheap I would have expected to get a lot more than a year out of them. One of the questions not answered was in regards to this. The first purchased printer broke down December 2022, finally got it working after 2 months. That was after flashforge passed the buck to the retailers , who had to get flashforge to solve it. So my verdict is they produce good even innovative machines but if you purchase, hope you never have any problems.
I would give 0 stars if it were an option. My Adventurer 3D printer only worked properly for 6 weeks or so.Flashforge customer service is the worst I've ever seen. They refuse to honor their warranty and either repair or replace the 3d printer. I've been sending them video after video of it not printing properly for 8 months or so.
