Friendly driver and clean bus. Unfortunately I paid for 2 seats next to each other, but someone was occupying my seats when I boarded. I eventually was able to sit elsewhere and got a refund from FlixBus for the second seat.
It was very cheap and the bus was very nice. However, it cost 12 euros to go to Paris Gaulle Airport, but I had to go to the centre with a metro ticket of 12 euros (incredible high but the paralympics was in Paris that time). I recommend to go with eurostar for 37 euros to get in the centre for just 1h 30 min instead of 4 hours with the flixbus.
I booked my ticket two months in advance. (9 hour journey). A week before, they informed me that my ride was canceled and offered me a seat on the next bus, an hour later. Then, a day before the trip, they informed me that it was canceled as well. I was in the situation of buying a ticket at the last moment, three times more expensive and arriving at the destination 4 hours later.
FlixBus is generally decent for short trips (up to 4 hours). However, for longer distances, the experience can be quite unpleasant. On longer routes, you might end up on an older FlixBus model that lacks USB ports, air conditioning, and has uncomfortable seats. Additionally, there are often no breaks, or just one very brief stop, which is problematic. Legally, the driver should stop every 2 hours for breaks on long journeys, but FlixBus does not adhere to this rule. As a result, you might end up on a 9-hour ride with only a 5-minute break, leading to a very uncomfortable experience. In summary, FlixBus is suitable for trips under 4 hours but is not recommended for longer journeys.
