Review Time
I just got off the Flixbus and my duffel bag that was in the luggage hold under the bus is dripping and wet. Lots of food, medication, some clothes and a boardgame are ruined! When I tried to talk to the bus driver he shrugged and said it was from rain. I wish I had taken the train.
Toilet on the bus was broken, the driver didn't care. I don't know who's problem is it but definitely not customer's. Why is the toilet broken? Why is the bus operating while it's not fully functioning? Shame. 8-hour ride without an opportunity to go to the toilet. Awful! I'll never use Flix Bus's services again!
If I could give 0 stars, that's what I would give. The worst experience of my life. The bus came on time, everything was fine, but a made small mistake on packing my luggage (I completely forgot that I had to take the bus, and only thought on the airport). At the pick-up point I was greeted with the most rude and unprofessional crew I could imagine. They started discussing and being way to rude to me as a client with me when I asked what could I do (I was more than willing to pay, since was my mistake). I nicely asked if they could speak with me politely, and they immediately exploded and didn't even wanted to take me in the bus or refund me. After other passengers and bystanders tried to calm the crew, they allowed me in. To note, that I spoke with them politely, and I understand that working with people might be challenging, so I try to understand; but they just went ballistic on me right from the start, when I only asked what could I do.I'll never use this service again or recommend to anyone. And that's how a company loses clients.
I had a terrible trip from Paris to Brussels. The bus was late and I missed the next bus, which was scheduled for an hour. I had booked panoramic seats on the upper deck for me and my friends, for which I paid 18 euros on top of the ticket price. However, it turned out that the bus was only on one level and some African woman was sitting in our seats even though her ticket said row 14. The driver was talking on the phone almost all the time and smoking cigarettes, and a strong wind was blowing through his open window. The worst trip with the company I have ever had and I will think twice before booking again
Great drivers, VERY polite and VERY VERY helpful!!! I allready gotten an explication from de driver with directions, but 1 of the drivers came sitting close to me and start looking things up in his phone and explaining with all the details possible to find my way around getting from Londen to Birmingham. Thanks for the safe drive on the UK N601 , with the little jokes beside,from Antwerp to Londen! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I use Flixbus a lot. This time I tried checking out for my ticket, and the website charged me the £80+ for the ticket but I received no confirmation email, and was not redirected to a confirmation page. I tried to make the payment again, and I again was charged, but no confirmation again. I reached out to support. They said they'd refund my tickets. And that I should try again after clearing cookies and clearing cache, and in a different browser. The price was already £30 more expensive (5 mins later). I booked it, and again, the same issue. I was charged, and no confirmation page, just the same page. Already £270+ in I was then told to try another device. I asked for evidence of the refunds but am told to wait 70 hours and that they cant provide any screenshot or email confirmation of the refund.I'm now waiting for this refund. I suggest Flixbus update their systems, and allow customer service to provide evidence of refunds, as it provided me no assurance.In the end I've booked through a third party website.The support agent was also rude when I tried to escalate the issue which did not help.
In general it was a very pleasant way to travel. Because you don't have to change trains it is a lot quieter and you can be much more at ease than with the train. It was nice and warm and the bus left on time and arrived on time, both on the way there and on the way back. Small point of criticism: the Wifi went down after 20 minutes and when I tried to connect again I only had limited data usage while I had not found a data limit in the conditions anywhere, it was not indicated anywhere. To the readers of this message who also want to take the Flixbus, please be aware that the company unfortunately cannot be held responsible for the behavior of fellow travelers. For example, they unfortunately cannot make the use of deodorant mandatory or provide duck tape to silence chatterboxes. Apart from these things I would definitely recommend the Flixbus!
Terrible Customer Service – No Help at All!I recently booked a trip with FlixBus from Amsterdam to Ghent, and it turned into an absolute nightmare. The bus was delayed, but there were no notifications or emails sent out about the delay. I assumed I had missed the bus and ended up stranded because of their poor communication.When I contacted customer support, Alysa, the agent I spoke with, was completely unhelpful. Despite providing proof that I didn’t use the ticket due to the delay, she kept dismissing my concerns, avoided addressing the issue, and even ended the conversation abruptly multiple times. Her lack of professionalism and unwillingness to assist left me frustrated and disappointed.FlixBus clearly doesn’t value their customers or care about providing reliable communication. I’ll think twice before using this service again and would not recommend it to anyone.
We chose to take the Flixbus a couple of weeks ago in the Czech Republic to get from Karlsbad to Prague and back. The ordering and payment of tickets was easy and clear using the Flixbus website. The prices are very reasonable. The bus arrived on time at Karlsbad and the boarding went fast. The bus was clean and warm. The busdrivers drove safely and timely. We were very glad to have taken the Flixbus instead of our car, since we arrived in the city center with minimal effort and stress.There were a couple of downsides:The bus from Prague back to Karlsbad had a 15-20 minutes delay.The bus did not have a lot of legroom (we are both >1.75m). Information given by the busdrivers was only in Czech and not in English.In summary, I would use Flixbus again and would recommend it to other people.
