Review Time
Without wasting a lot of words and time, assume that this is the worst possible review that I can give any business establishment. Ever…. Avoid "Flowers by Nora" (flowersbynora.com) in attempting to send flowers to an area you do not exactly know.
This company stated online that they were located in the delivery area so I started an order. The website said “Same day fresh flower delivery in Los Alamitos (CA). Family Owned and Operated local florist.” Near the end of the order process, I asked their location and they told me on the phone that they were located in Montebello, CA about 30 minutes from my delivery location. I still don't know where the person was. But at that point since I needed to hurry, I placed the order. That was a mistake. I shouldn’t have.
They are not a traditional local franchise or chain, but rather a "call center" or "broker" website that mimics a local, independent florist. Upon receiving an order, they typically pass it to a real local florist while keeping a significant percentage of the payment, which for me resulted a lower-quality product than what I ordered. Mine was not professionally designed, just flowers stuck in a cheap glass jar. They would not refund my money, nor even redeliver a real professional arrangement to my party using mixed blooms in inventory. Rather they took $20.00 off my charge, sending me scripted regret responses to my emails, and that was done even before the charge was posted to Amex, as if that’s their MO at first sign of a complaint. This negative review will add to the other overwhelmingly negative complaints on platforms like the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and Yelp. Please read some before you order.
So, if you are looking for a local florist, you should verify the physical address of the shop in the specific town to ensure it is not a call center directing orders from a different location. Please note that there is apparently a legitimate local Flowers by Nora in PA.

I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering. Reading others, I'm lucky at least something was delivered and on time, therefore the 2 stars. However I ordered the large and got the small. Customer service site only offers Chat which doesn't work. Buyer beware.
Just do not use them. I ordered an arrangement to be delivered for a funeral on Friday and even paid extra for expedited delivery and A WEEK LATER the flowers still have not been delivered. I've called at least 4 times, spoke with a supervisor who assured me the arrangement would be delivered this past Weds- that he would personally reach out to the florist- but still no flowers!!! I ordered a plant for a friend hosting a party this past weekend. It was supposed to be delivered on Sat, it finally was delivered on Monday.Florists.com is the WORST, do not use them. I can't understand how they can conduct business this way.
Terrible is the best I could say. The picture of what we ordered for our holiday party centerpieces looked NOTHING like what we received. We even paid extra for the large size and we received 1/2 the amount of flowers. Mostly green leaves and none of the pinecones that the picture of what we ordered had. I wish I could post pictures to show you. Even the bow was thin and droopy, just like the flowers. Do not order from them.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I placed an order two weeks ago to be delivered two days before Thanksgiving, purposely to make sure that there was a little wiggle room. The flowers were not delivered on Tuesday, and when I called today (after searching online for their phone number, since it is not on the website anywhere), I was told it was marked as being out for delivery today but that all deliveries had already been completed. What an absolute joke of a company. Never order from here.
If I could give zero stars I would. Placed order for same day delivery. 3 days later still no flowers. Agent offered refund of $16 svc chg. Never recd refund. Agents are foreigners, will not give you name of local florist they sent your floral order to, but they “will call and check” on it… which means they just put you on hold for a few minutes and then resume the call and begin their lies again. Unethical, unscrupulous SCAM artists is all this company is.
I paid an extra fee to have an arrangement sent on 10/28/25. I was contacted that evening stating they couldn’t find a florist to fulfill order that day. I requested fee refund and agreed to have it sent the following day. I was not given refund of fee. I received a call again saying they could not fulfill order on 10/29. I asked for a full refund. The company is not issuing a full refund. They are saying I was given a $20 discount. I have proof from my PayPal what I was charged and they are issuing an amount $21 less than what I paid. I sent proof but they are still not giving me my full refund.
The absolute worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure of doing business with. They take your order and have absolutely no intention whatsoever of following through on the delivery of your order. Received an email indicating that delivery had been made, when in fact, it had not. How was I so stupid to not have read the reviews for this scam company first? I will be reporting this as a fraudulent purchase with my credit card company and getting a full refund as well as filing a report with the BBB.
