Review Time
This is not a good learning platform. My young adult daughter wanted to study and was "convinced" to enrol to a course she cannot afford without being made aware of the exact financial commitment or the 5-day cooling off period. I am taking this further if needed. She is withdrawing from the course due to current cost of living and trying to start living out on her own, on withdrawing she had been told she must pay the full course amount of $4000. Taking advantage of vulnerable people seems to be the done thing with this education platform.
BE AWARE!!! SCAM ALERT!!!this people are no heart. No days or time they will never give back a penny you earned. They scam me $4000!!! Yes. They never contact you about the education that you sign, But when it becomes to the payment they don't care if you at work. do research before signing up online please. That the mistake I've made. now they are $4k richers. They don't deserve a star...
Stay away! Close to $4,000 out of pocket.Cert 3 in school based education.Could not complete because the work load expected on the job is impossible to complete, the workload and study is equivalent to a bachelor in teaching yet you only receive a cert 3, if you get as far as finishing.On the job prac includes videoing your work, scenarios etc, all in school time, with staff and students (Eventhough teachers are already stretched) 100 hours doesn't cut the amount of work you need to complete.When checking with a friend, who is actually doing a bachelor in teaching, she did not have to do any of that.Foundation education make it that hard that you have to extend the course for more time, and then fork out even more money!What a waste of time and money this has been. Dissapointing! Something needs to be done about this.
As per lots of other comments these guys are like illegal gangsters They tricked our young daughter into signing up for a course on her first call - worse than used car salesmen!!Then when she couldn’t finish it would not budge on outstanding fees and us as parents had to fight them and nearly needed to hire a queens council for help Then it got worse - debt collectors started abusing our daughter with notices to pay o/s fees!!!The only guy we found with morals was a guy called Dino who helped us outAvoid avoid avoid 🤬
Absolutely ridiculous! I signed up to a course and the day later said I wasn’t wanting to keep on with the course, the staff made me feel pressured into saying yes and kept on calling me after I had emailed and called and said I didn’t want to do it. I paid a deposit of $100 and then 3 months later $270 was taken out of my account as an administration fee! This is absolutely stupid, this place is ripping people off! $370 for a few emails and calls is just baffling to me! Highly would not recommend this place at all as they are scamming people for money and it’s disgusting behaviour. I wish I could rate this place 0 stars! Honestly don’t even know how this company is still running an absolute joke!
***Update we have now received a full refund from Foundation Education. Make sure you read everything before you sign up.***Foundation Education are unscrupulous. My daughter enrolled in a course but pulled out within two hours. She luckily only paid them $100 dollars. They are refusing to refund it and have sent an invoice for $370 in administration fees. They won’t be getting any more money as we have taken steps to stop this happening. We have also put in a disputed transaction with the bank. I am in the process of reporting them to the Nation Training and Compliance website. The reason they will hound you with a debt collector is because it’s also a part of the Foundation Educations abn profile. Please don’t get involved with them.
I signed up to Foundation Education to study my Cert 3 in School based Education Support, and it NOT what you think!!!! I completed all my theory assessments with in 6 months and I have just started my work placement which the work load is COMPLETELY OVER THE TOP and not achievable at all. I have 11 files fill with assessments to complete, they say a minimum of 100 hours to complete it, but I can tell you that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to complete in 100 hours. I have teachers even commenting that they can’t believe the work load and the level at which I need to do, they says it’s at the level and equivalent of their Batchelor of education!! Think twice!!!
Absolutly pissed off with the lack of service from Foundation Education. I feel completely ripped off and unheard as these people obviously have their ears painted on.6 weeks in and still a poop show, hear the same thing form whoever i speak with, once signed up by Paul who sold me the dream course have been left high and dry. Know looking to get my money back and seek the ombudsman involvement here, as obviously nothing is changing and i'm worn thin of this to the same spiel.
Unfortunatley Foundation Education refuses to contact me and won't explain why they didn't assist with placement for my dental studies. They've stopped contacting me and blocked me out of the course area and requesting I pay extra fees in full when I'm almost finished the course. Of course I'm wanting and willing to pay in full, however I thought I'd have some form of contact with them so I could pay directly, or explanation why they needed the payment without doing their part in assisting me complete the course. Very odd. Now I'm having to ethically fight their collectors. I shall continue the fight for all students.
