I have confirmed with the real TAFE that COURSES.COM.AU are a SCAM WEBSITE and pose as a legitimate company & foundation education uses this to steal your information and lock you into the contract. I am investigating it further with TAFEQLD.EDU.AU currently, to see how Foundation Education accessed and stole my details from them. I hope this helps, and saves at least one person from getting bowled over like I did. You will come out the other side. I promise. This company will not last long with the way it operates. There are so many red flags from this company that you could see it from space. Be smarter than these guys, don't give up, read the T's and C's, have a beverage and relax, and ask your god for help...whoever that may be. Literally. This last month has caused me to have a religious epiphany. Mental peace, sleepless nights and emotional stability that I will never get back after dealing with these wads. Keep leaving these honest reviews. To whoever is the ideas guy of this operation, I hope that your pillow is forever warm on both sides, and you lose your tv remote.Peace, love, and my good luck to you. Be very careful when signing in to do a course with foundation education! you don’t receive its content until maybe one day before the 5 day cooling off period ends and after that your liable to pay for the course in full even if it’s not for you or not what you thought you be studying. I withdrew shortly after starting a course (due to change in my current work hours and health reasons) and I’m stuck paying all the fees and will not receive anything in return.
I initially signed up to do an online course with FE. However I never had the chance to even start the course due life events etc. I paid about $600 for them to stop calling and asking me to pay. Then this is where it got bad. The team member from the finance department became quite rude and demanding. She would call 4-5 times in a row and then send me emails demanding I pay. I had not even started course mind you. Eventually I had enough and thought right this needs to stop. So after lots of back and forth emailing I put in an appeal and they finally approved it. So I was able to do withdraw from the course with no further payments required. I had to unfortunately threaten them that I would need to take them to court and contact the ombudsman. There responses where that because I initiated the course I was liable for the costs. My response to them was simply this. Yes I initiated it but I haven't even started it and I'm asking to withdraw from the course and your trying to charge me for a service which I didn't receive. Educational tip. Never pay for anything if you have actually received anything for it or out of it. In this case a certificate. I was lucky because I wasn't an idiot and kept my guard strong. Some people unfortunately are and have been sucked in and taken to dept collectors etc. Please be careful is all I'm saying
Do not enrol with this company ! They show no support . They do not contact you at all . They do not return your queries . They do not let you get out of your training. Even with a medical certificate from the doctor stating you are in poor health and they don’t assist at all but take your money and don’t reply . They lock you out of your course if you try to fight them and then still charge you for a course you can’t do . This is the worst training organization I have ever ever dealt with and many more of my colleagues will be writing reviews on how bad they are . Disgusting treatment of someone in poor health ! Even with evidence from a doctor stating they can not continue their study they are still charging them ! Disgraceful !
My daughter singed up to do the cert 3 childcare. They have a 5 day cooling off period, and they send you the form just before it expires. My daughter got a new job before she started the course so she rang and cancelled it. She had made the first payment of $350, and it was around 9 days after she signed up. A few weeks later, they took another $350 from her account. When I questioned this they said she still had to pay regardless if she started it or not. They refused to give her money back. As far as I'm concerned this is just money grabbing. Stay clear of this place. Absolutely disgusting that they can take advantage of people like this.
DO NOT SIGN UP WITH FOUNDATION EDUCATION.My wife started a course in Cert 4 Education Support. Beware of the salespeople signing you up and telling you the course is suitable. After signing up the course was long winded, totally over the top and the curriculum seemed totally irrelevant. She perseisted and completed 2 assignments, but when she commenced her prac placement quickly found out that the curriculum is not compattable with how prac is generally completed in a school and could not be completed. She is now paying for a course that she cannot complete the prac for. After a month of back and forth with email and phone calls over and over again speaking with different people they finally accepted her withdrawal from the course but still want to charge for the remainder of the course. I can see from reading other reviews that our experience is the same as many others and for those that don't pay they are chased by debt collectors. We dont seem to have a signed contract as apparently the signing up was done by phone. They do not give you access to the course curriculum during the cooling off period either so the whole thing is basically a scam / money grab from them. They obviously do this all the time and have no interest in actually providing good courses that are fit for purpose. They are a total scam.
