I was recommended Foxy Locks by my hairdresser. I am a novice in hair extensions and am getting them for my wedding. Whilst on the site I used the chat box and met Tegan. She has continued to support with prompt emails with a colour match and advice on what to order. The service has been personal and professional. They certainly put the customer first. I await my extensions and have no doubt of the quality.
I’ve used Foxylocks since the brand launched and have never felt the need to look elsewhere for great quality hair extensions! It’s been great to see the brand and products develop and grow over the years and I’m sure I will continue to be a customer for many years to come.
I have a full set of extensions form Foxy locks which I love, so with an event coming up I ordered the ponytail to go with a specific outfit/look. Ordered 8 days before event. Arrived promptly, but when I opened, it clearly wasn't 16inches, but 22. Not what I ordered. I hadn't worn it, but took photos of the clear length difference between my 16" clip ins and the very long pony tail and sent straight away and repackaged. I was asked to send a photo with a tape measure, explained I didn't have one but could photograph them next to my current foxy locks with box etc, then was asked to send a photo of paper invoice and outside of box. The next day we then went back to asking me to go and borrow a tape measure off someone for another photo, so I did this. Then at the end of that day I had to send a photo of the hair on weighing scales. Apparently weighed less than expected so was asked if I'd cut or coloured them etc before being allowed to return them. I explained I needed a replacement ASAP and before the next weekend, expecting a replacement of the correct product to be sent immediately, only after asking further questions was I told they would have to receive the incorrect item, and review it before they could dispatch the correct product. I was assured this process doesn't take long and I may have it for the weekend. It is Saturday today, they have received my return, no contact to say whether its been 'reviewed', no replacement sent. Nothing. So they still have my money, I have no product and will now have to figure out an alternative for tonight which will cost additional £. Really disappointing service when the error was on the business rather than the customer.
Love these, the tech of having the hair sealed in that glue band at the top is invaluable it barely loses hair at all which is the main worry regarding extensions, the draw back is that the clips do come off sooner than other brands I have tried throughout the years with much less 'trauma' applied to them but as said, the hair is the important cost and clips are replaceable at cheap and easy cost and effort
i ordered hair from here in replacement of milk and blush last october and i must admit the hair has lasted so much better (the quality of hair has declined massively over the years) hair used to last me a year with constant wear where as now i wear about 4 times a month and this hair has lasted me around 8 months. it’s still in good condition in comparison to my last set from milk and blush but i’ve ordered especially for a wedding. i ordered last thursday stating i would have royal mail delivery within 3-5 days (may have even been 2-3) considering the bank hol it’s now way past that and i’m yet to have a dispatch email. i’ve logged into my account and all i can see is my last order from october last year, not the £300 i’ve just spent, fortunately i have an order confirmation but no record or the order when i log into my account. for such a huge amount of money you think it would be traced through your initial account but clearly not. i wouldn’t usually write such a harsh review but when the quality decreases so rapidly, the price increases so drastically yet there is no customer service support i ultimately have no choice. praying the hair is sent in time for the wedding but i’m not too optimistic at this point
The hair was of good quality and the colour matched, but DO NOT BUY this product if you have thicker hair!! I found the extensions to be much too thin and was refused a refund, due to the seal on the box being broken. I don’t know how I could have known if they would fit my hair without trying them on briefly. Therefore, this purchase was a big gamble financially as their returns are not flexible or lenient.
I have been purchasing Foxy Locks since they was established years ago. I have never had any issues with quality and longevity up until my last two purchases. In 2014 a 20inch deluxe 165g set was £78 and lasted YEARS and that was with my teenage self backcombing them, putting constant heat on them with no protection, wearing them everyday and generally not looking after them very well. Now at 20 inch set costs over £200 and I was lucky to get one wear out of them before they started matting and tangling! I buy expensive products, hair masks, shampoos and conditioners and oils to look after them like I would my own hair and nothing improves them. I thought the first set I purchased was faulty so I gave FL the benefit of the doubt and got on with it. This is now my second purchase of this new “quality” hair and I can safely say they have increased their prices and decreased the hair quality. I contacted customer services with pictures and they told me to purchase their aftercare. In the past I didn’t use any aftercare and they continued to be perfect for years and years. Now I can’t even get one wear out them, the current set I have now I’ve had for just shy of a year and only wear them around once a month if I’m doing something significant that is around 12 wears and they are wrecked! They tangle and knot whilst worn and look stupid when out. I’m disappointed to say I will never be purchasing from Foxy Locks again after being a customer for over 10 years. I will take my money somewhere else where the extensions can be worn more than once before looking tatty, matted, frizzy and dry.
Shipping etc was great but the hair quality was not so great. Went incredibly dry and frizzy after one wear so opting for fitted extensions. I even attempted to use a temporary conditioning colour deposit on them so I could use them for a fun fashion colour so I at least got two uses out of them but I just looked like Hagrid. Maybe their darker colours are better. If you want to spend £150 for a night, I would recommend but not for wearing on more than one occasion. The hair literally feels like wires.
