I ordered the bear...he arrived on the first anniversary of my dads death. In fact half an hour later than his actual time of death...wonderful timing.Its true what they say about how cuddly they are and how soft the fur is...I know this wonderful bear will be a great friend and bring me comfort in lifes challenges.
Update to my original review:Getsnugly reached out to me with response below, which was reassuring, and I finally did receive my red panda. It arrived vacuum packed, but on opening it very quickly took up the shape & size it needed to be. Very soft, and good quality. I'm sure it's going to make a really great birthday gift like I'd hoped.Getsnugly also reached out to me by email to apologise for the delay once it had been delivered, but I would have really appreciated some correspondence from them to notify me that that was happening from the start, rather than them only reaching out to me after my review. It was quite a stressful experience, and when I didn't get replies to my emails or social media DM to their page I did become fully convinced that this was a scam. Hope they are able to learn from this & keep their customers well informed, etc. ------------------------------------------Original review:Order confirmation received 2nd Nov, and dispatch email the next day, a few days later a shipping confirmation, but the day after I received an email about a delay. It's now 18th Nov and I'm still waiting and no further emails. I was under the impression that this was a UK based service, with free delivery and that the red panda that I purchased as a gift would be with me by now. I was also under the impression from my order confirmation that Royal Mail would be delivering, but it seems that the tracking number is complete wrong. When I click on their link, I see it's some foreign company that is shipping from China, and that it's still in China?! And now I've seen the more recent negative reviews (since after my order) and they're all the same as me! This is very disappointing and I think this must be a scam website with fake positive reviews. Beware. I'm now going to try and see if I'll get my money back, when they finally respond to my email.
Customer service was friendly and helpful. When I got my Red Panda Snugly it was so delightful. In snuggle mode it covers me to my waist- so bigger than I thought it was going to be! The panda is so incredibly soft. The panda is well made. The weighted arms really do feel like a hug. I am entirely pleased with this purchase.
Everything about this company is misleading. They give the impression of being a uk based company and display the British flag on their web site with expected delivery time of 5-6 days from order. This is not the reality, they are being made and shipped from China and I’ve no idea when my order will finally arrive, what the quality will be or what materials are being used. Also the 30 day no quibble return policy isn’t as straight forward as it’s portrayed, returns need to be sent back to china and you’re liable for all postage costs. The advertising for snugly is also very misleading and all the ‘discounts’, special offers and Black Friday deals are a complete smokescreen as the prices are always the same, I really don’t know how companies can get away with this deceit. I should have done more research as I feel totally conned into believing the false advertising and whats even more frustrating within hours of placing a large order for 6 of these as Xmas gifts (£180) they then inundated me with discount codes to get another 20% off if I checked out my basket and that would have been an extra saving of a £30 on my order. Their customer services didn’t respond to me when I queried this however I did get a response and apology about delay in delivery although even the assurance that my order would be dispatched in a few days was a lie and I’m still waiting and the “tracking” info in china is useless. I will update this review when/if my order eventually arrives but I’m truthfully very concerned about the quality etc and I dread the consequences of having to deal with this company if there is a problem. Buyers beware, take the time to investigate the statements made and if you do decide to order don’t check out your basket for a few days and you too might get another 20% discount code!
Lovely soft and good quality, it really is rwlaxing/ calming too! I would rate a 5 but gave it a 4 because delivery too slightly longer than expected (the customer service was very helpful in sorting it out though).I'll be ordering more at a future date!
I bought the Red Panda and he is very snug at my home, for now, but I bought him for my grand-daughter who struggles with body dystopia (for her 14th birthday on 29/12) but I made the mistake of having long long cuddles with him (just to test him lol) so now I'm struggling as I think I need one for myself. These really are a treasure.
