Review Time
We had a great few days away, it was just what we needed and super cosy! There was milk in the fridge when we got there and a happy birthday banner and balloon for my partners birthday. The doggie towel and treats were a lovely touch! Just a great time!
It's been 10 years since we last visited Geufron Farm, and it's every bit as magical and breathtaking as we remembered..The Cowshed was spotless and cosy, the new fenced in garden and dog field gave our 2 dogs a wonderful space to run, and Hannah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and supported when our van broke down! We can't recommend it highly enough, to relax and unwind, and we look forward to going back in the spring!
Just returned from a 3 night stay at The Barn. The location is stunning with views of the Welsh hills. We found everything we needed for our self catering stay. The place was very doggie friendly and comfortable with plenty of exercise space in fenced areas. We visited the local pub where we enjoyed good food and also welcomed the dog.Lots of places to visit nearby, the Talyllyn Railway is well worth a visit and also the water falls. It was nice to return to the barn after a day sightseeing as it was warm and comfortable. We will recommend to others and hope to return some time in the future
Staying at The Granary Cottage, Geufron Farm was a joy. The cottage itself is more than big enough for two people and a dog and is well equipped. Easy to get to the surrounding towns and beaches. Hannah, her father, Jenny and the other guests were all lovely to talk to. The dog field is a beautiful bonus and it was great for our dog to meet his new Dutch friend Micky.Well recommended.
Arrived for a bit of a last minute booking, Hanna was super helpful with her advice and info prior to our arrival. The y cabin was warm, cosy and immaculately clean, also beautifully well lit at night. The interior is delightful, warm light wall fittings an electric real effect fire and Alexa. There is everything you need and lots of space for food.Hanna was super quick in responding to me when i asked to borrow some scales to make bread. The shower is lovely and warm and the bedrooms cosy, I slept in the twin bedroom with my little boy, although it says beds only suited to children, i had no problem sleeping well. The location is perfect, the views are amazing. We enjoyed the railway and walk at Dolgoch falls. Barmouth is so worth a visit. We took a walk up snowdon, up the pyg track and down the miners, it was lovely to come back to the y cabin have a hot shower, warm meal and be cozy after such a wild wet windy hike.I will be back soon as we are really pleased to have such a great base in North Wales, Shame its so far from South Hams Devon.Lovely welcome pack and jojo our doggy liked his also 😍 Dog field was super useful. Thanks again
The accommodation was perfectly suited to our large family group. Everyone had their own space but we could all gather in the farmhouse for meals and games. All the accommodation was very well equipped, and was clean and comfortable. Dean and Hannah seem to have thought of everything. And our dogs were very much at home - probably the most dog friendly holiday home we have stayed at. The drive up the steep winding track to the farmhouse gives a lovely sense of exclusivity. And the alpacas have added something special. A wonderful place with spectacular views. We will be back!
The barn is an amazing place to stay! Very clean, so comfortable and well presented and a joy to stay in. We loved the astonishing view and the absolute peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation to book another stay. The owners kept in contact from the time of booking and the app they provide with details of the Barn and the area is brilliant. It would seem that they have a genuine passion to make sure that you have the best time you can and do everything to help you do that. I cannot recommend enough!
A lovely clean caravanThe enclosed field is a god send for a dog who can't go off the lead . The whole place is stunning. Very peaceful and good for the soul . We have 2 teenager it was a little squeeze but we all fitted perfectly We ll definitely return
Despite more rain than a Gene Kelly movie our few days in The Cowshed still served as a fantastic base to venture out (in between the downpours).Great facilities, excellent positioning to get out and about (hills/mountains/rivers/trains and beaches) and cozy and peaceful when you want to just sit and watch the hills disappear as the clouds came in.We will return.
