The mirrored barn door I ordered from OptiDoors, Otto & Sohn arrived with a shattered mirror. It looks like it was damaged en route with forklift, even though, it was very well packed and labeled FRAGILE and CRYSTAL. I contacted OptiDoors and I received a swift email response in a matter of hours. In addition, Omar contacted me by phone and was extremely courteous and professional. They are sending me a replacement door. The customer service was amazing and quick to resolve the problem. I will update this review upon receiving replacement door.
Ordering the barn door online was a breeze! I ordered the four panel shaker barn door MDF painted in white. I also chose the stainless steel rail and t-handle. Shipping time was estimated at 4 weeks. I received the hardware within 3 weeks and the door arrived a week later. The packaging on the door was impressive. The door shipped from Florida to Connecticut without and issues. The shipping box for the door had labels on it marked "Glass" and "Fragile". This definitely helped the cause of arriving in great shape. Communication was great from the shipping company and Otto & Sohn. The door is fantastic! Lots of compliments! Looking for another door, I know where I am ordering from!!
Real happy with the door. Super high quality. Dimensions perfect. Customer service rep easy to work with. My only complaint is the delivery service they used (Estes), taking a month to get here, sitting at ports for days at a time, scheduling a Saturday delivery that didn't come, losing all track of the order, then finding it after we'd begun a refund request. Then after the delivery was made, we received two more calls about a pending delivery. Again, no complaints with Otto & Sohn. Happy with the end result – the journey notwithstanding.
