Goboony seemed to be an amazing website with great opportunities for renting vans. It seemed reliabl, until we used it. My partner and I rented a T4 camper van in summer 2023 in Milan. We paid for extra protective insurance. Unfortunately the van broke down suddenly on the motorway outside Pisa. We firstly had an awful time getting picked up as the workers couldn’t locate us. Then we were taken to a mechanic and told to leave and go home as the van was done. On foot, we headed for Pisa with all of our luggage and nowhere to go. Goboony customer service advised us they would book us a flight home to Ireland. Then we got another call from a different staff member who claimed they couldn’t fly us home as they only cover domestic flights. They provided no support and we had to pay £400 each to get home. As well as this, we never received any refunds for the 9 days of our holiday that we missed. We have been in contact with Goboony a million times since the trip and have never got a clear answer. We were told it was up to the owners of the camper to pay us, and they refused. No help whatsoever.
