I recently hired a motorhome through Goboony and experienced a number of significant issues during the rental. The owner of the campervan fully acknowledged these problems and, to their credit, refunded the full hire cost from their side.However, Goboony refused to refund their portion of the transaction, denying any responsibility for what happened. Instead, I was advised to pursue a claim through the insurance. This response does not fill me with confidence and raises serious concerns that other users could easily face similar issues, only to be met with the same lack of accountability.In addition, when I requested confirmation of key safety documentation, specifically the habitation and gas certificates, Goboony failed to provide them. For a platform that facilitates motorhome hires, this is simply unacceptable.The lack of customer support, unwillingness to share responsibility, and failure to ensure basic safety compliance leaves me very disappointed. I would strongly urge others to think twice before booking through Goboony.
We experienced significant inconvenience due to the owner from the camper:- The door locks weren't working properly.- The battery wasn't properly connected.- The refrigerator wasn't secured, causing it to slide. This caused damage.There was a dispute with the camper owner, because of the costs caused by negligence of the owner ( the refrigerator wasn’t secured and moved during riding), where Goboony accepted our proposal. But lateron we, as tenants, ultimately had to pay the costs. They told us, they could only give an advise to the owner. As a tenant, you're completely unprotected with Goboony.The disputemediation from goboony is worthless.The arrangements with Goboony are very poor.
I am the victim of one of these motorhomes hitting my car. I allowed for the normal insurance process to go through however it has been over 6 months and the company have completely avoided the issue. They have been unprofessional, not responding to my emails or calls. Do not trust this company incase you have damage to your own vehicle via their motorhome or you damage the motorhome
