I must admit it took a while to book a Camper van and I did experience a couple of non starters while said they refused my booking so I chose another alternative then it came up as they accepted the booking very confusing but luckily I persevered and a booking was found
2nd rental experience with go booney also went bad. First van cancelled. Still not had a refund for £700. The 2nd van then didn't have any gas so we couldn't cook any food. Again, it's just not worth it.They still haven't sorted the partial refund we are owed from the 1st rental.
We are from France. We arrived in Sardinia for a 5 day road trip. The day we arrived our van cancelled on us… we were left in the middle of August with a 4 year old with no accommodation and hardly any communication with Gobooney ( only an email saying our trip was cancelled ) there is no number to contact, no support. We were completely left on our own. So much money was wasted. HOLIDAY FROM HELL !! Don’t use this company, if something goes wrong they are no help, even if you pay for insurance
