Review Time
Made my order on Monday (05/01) last week. Didn’t get processed for shipping until late Thursday afternoon. Because of the weekend this then delayed the parcel delivery until the following Monday (12/01) evening. In an age of same day and next day delivery I’m a bit disappointed with a weeks delivery for a couple of cheap fleeces. Good prices but shipping and processing is very slow, especially when you pay nearly £5 for 48hr delivery.
Ordered a work jacket on 19/12/25, its now 05/01/26 and still hasn’t arrived. Disappointed with the after service, not once have they kept me informed with my order, they have only replied to the emails i have sent them with excuse after excuse. They are clearly advertising and taking money for products they dont have, and making false promises on delivery dates. I have requested a full refund, and will never order from this company again.
A couple of previous negative reviews made me slightly apprehensive before placing an order, but I am pleased to say that I am very happy with the service that I received. I ordered on the Saturday before Christmas at a very busy time for mail orders and when you expect companies to shut down for the break, so I didn't really expect delivery until the new year. My order was actually delivered in good condition straight after boxing day, so no complaints here.
I’ve ordered from this company for a few years and they’ve always supplied high quality and great pricing items recently had a package arrive with items missing from Royal Mail damaging my package after 2 emails and some great communication they’ve already sent my replacement items out couldn’t ask for better service!!
After an initial hiccup of the item not arriving on said day. I emailed the company and got a reply stating that the item will be delivered next day & apologies for the delay.Item arrived and the item appears to be good quality.Proof in the pudding will be next week when my partner wears them for work.
GS Workwear & Tools is an operating unit of Goldstar Leisure Ltd. You'll find the limited entity at Companies House and it's Goldstar that you'll need to sue if the need arises.Shame on me for not taking more notice of the absolute absence of identifying information or any telephone numbers on the GS website. In my defence I contacted GS by email before I placed an order to discover which courier it would use and I received a swift and helpful response, which also invited me to pay more money to upgrade to 24 hour delivery in the event I placed an order.I did place a trial order on 10th October 2025 and paid for 24 hour delivery, and haven't received anything. I sent four emails to GS today and just received automated responses stating GS' short working hours and week and telling me it prides itself on its customer service; it really doesn't.I cancelled the order and took the precaution of sending a pre- action protocol email in case I don't receive a full refund promptly and need to initiate recovery proceedings at the County Court. That might seem gratuitous, but bear in mind that GS hasn't done what it undertook to do and hasn't communicated with me and effectively can't be contacted.I don't understand how anyone could give one of the few positive reviews of GS that are on Trustpilot. Disbelieve them, believe the one star reviews and avoid this shower like the plague. In retrospect Goldstar Leisure Ltd. has tried hard to hide itself when operating as GS Workwear and Tools and that tells me everything I need to know about its directors.
