I had two transplants with Hair Growth Clinic and both were disasters. • The first surgery was unsuccessful. The doctor did not perform the procedure — it was carried out entirely by two technicians. • During my second transplant, the doctor was only present at the very beginning, then disappeared and again left everything to technicians.I specifically chose this clinic because they claim to specialise in Afro-textured hair, but this could not be further from the truth. I’ve been left with cobblestoning (raised bumps/scarring – look it up) and bald patches across my hairline. The results are horrible and permanent. Cobblestoning is caused by improper graft seating due to improper surgical technique and incorrect sized grating tools used. They failed to tell me what this was when I saw then, if they did it would have highlighted their incompetence, so I've had to find this out on my own accord. Now I will need to find a skilled surgeon to correct the damage HGC has done. This clinic provides a substandard service, delivers unsatisfactory results, and operates in a way that feels highly deceptive. They are scammers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Took over £3k of my money. Terrible post service. Was due an annual check up and the first time was postponed and the date and time it was postponed until wasn't met. You cannot get through to anyone on the phone when trying to query appointments. Do not take time off work because they are unreliable. Totally unacceptable service.
Couldn't be happier with my experience of the Romford branch of the Romford Hair Growth Centre. Dr Vishal Nayak explained the whole procedure from start to finish and I received brilliant care from all the staff involved, most importantly I am over the moon with the results.Would definitely recommend
I visited the Romford branch for a hair transplant on August 16th 2024 and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. (Afro FUE 2400 grafts) - I had an amazing treatment experience in the Romford branch with Dr Nayak - I was greeted by the lovely team and doctor who told me how the day would go, my aspirations and discussed expectations. I was anxious prior to the surgery as to whether the team would be impatient with drawing on the hairline and extracting/ implanting the hair. This did not happen and I could not have asked for a better team to carry out the treatment. The doctor was patient and meticulous with drawing on the hairline and advising as to what gives the best end result for a hairline (natural look with good density). I had a very pleasant experience with Amal, Haj and Eleni who were very friendly, patient and did a fantastic job of extracting and implanting my grafts. I’m only on day 4 post surgery and my donor area already looks nearly untouched as if nothing happened to that area.The recipient area is healing very well and the hairline is natural and frames my face perfectly. Plan to leave a follow up review in 6-12 months to report on how the new hairs have grown.Thanks to the team at Romford for a lovely experience.
Possibly like many of my peers, I had contemplated a hair transplant for a number of years but had not possessed the courage to implement my wish to have a fuller head of hair. Ultimately I chose The Hair Centre and I am very pleased that I did. What I was looking for was an honest and professional service, where I was given frank and accurate advice about my hair - this is exactly what I received. Dr Munir was clear about the type of outcome I might achieve if I progressed with the procedure, based upon the quality and volume of my donor area. It transpired that a hair transplant would not meet my hopes and expectations. He could have easily tried to give me a more flattering verdict but I valued his honesty and integrity, particularly given my fears and scepticism about the industry.Ultimately we decided that the procedure should not proceed and, it is for the integrity and professionalism that was displayed throughout from Dr Munir and his team, that I would recommend any people contemplating a hair transplant, should choose The Hair Centre.I was treated with courtesy and respect throughout and it was evident that the practice is run very professionally and the expertise of the practitioners is robust
I had a very good experience with Dr Vishal Nayak at the Romford Centre. He was very friendly and understood my requirements very well and accordingly suggesting the treatment plan best suited for me. The staff who did the transplant for me was very experienced and professional and kept instructing me at every stage of the treatment. I would highly recommend getting the treatment done by Dr Vishal Nayak and his team at Romford Centre.
Fantastic! Dr Nayak at the Romford clinic is very honest and very professional. I originally wanted the crown to be fixed but he explained that in his expertise it would be better to completely do the front first and put a few grafts in my crown to see how they take as the crown can be a bit tricky as you can continuously lose hair from that area in some cases. He and his team have a done a fantastic job and after my yearly review today he is very confident he can now completely fill in my crown which I will be booking soon. He has given me a completely natural look. I recently went to Ibiza with friends who I have not seen since I had the procedure done and who also didn’t know I had it done and they all said I looked good but couldn’t quite figure out why. Once I told them I had a hair transplant they couldn’t believe it as it looks so natural and tidy. I cannot recommend Dr Nayak and his team enough if you want someone who will give you the results, will be 100% honest and cares about the outcome and not the money which a lot of clinics do then he is your guy 👍
