Took time of work today to have a part fitted at MG Hawkins Hayle. My car am MG 3 Hybrid was booked in for this work and on arrival after travelling from Redruth was told the parts had not arrived. This had been an ongoing problem since august and has been to the dealer multiple times for diagnostic work and software updates. Since the software update the car revs upto 5000 rpm on slight inclines and the dealer has refused to resolve saying its normal for hybrids. I requested to speak to the service manager but he was not at his desk. I requested a phone call but non has been made. I am selling the car as very unhappy with the service.
After initially having problems with my brand-new qashqai that I bought from Hawkins the team at Hawkins bent over backwards to help me find a solution. Unfortunately, they couldn’t fix my brand-new car so Kai went above and beyond to put me in the car I chose to replace it. I know there are problems which arise However the Hawkins team went Above & Beyond to resolve my issues I will certainly be buying another car from this garage and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Hawkins team thank you again for making what could’ve been an awful situation good
We use Hawkins when buying and servicing cars. They're always excellent.Today, they excelled.I booked a service and turned up to the regular place I usually go. However, it was the wrong centre.Indian Queens, despite being unable to find my booking, fitted me in.Blackwater were very understanding and accepted my apologies!
Found bubbling corrosion on rooftop of Qashqui, bought it on a 21 plate 6 months previous, took car to Penryn for an inspection, after a month nobody had contacted me, I phoned the service department, was told Nissan Corrosion warranty did not cover it. So Goodbye!!! No offer of help no loyalty to their brand taken into account, we've sold you the car, and we are not interested about customer service. Even contacted the Service manager, he prompt in his reply, to tell me the same answer, but has not replied over whether there was any help on offer. I feel their attitude is couldnt care once you've bought the car.
I have just taken delivery of our first Hyundai Tucson both my wife and I are extremely thrilled with the car. This is the first time we have dealt with Hawkins at Blackwater and the Hyundai sales manager Gavin is brilliant. There was no pressure, no hard sales pitch, everything was very calm. He gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision and helped us every step along the way including getting our private plate changed from one car to the other. All in all great service. Thank you.
