The food is generally straightforward to cook- even the average recipes are really not too hard. Honestly, the biggest plus is that you get a whole, coherent meal out of every box that covers all your needs and tastes good. It is something a lot of people either don't know how to do or don't have the time for, and the hello fresh food is a real ray of sunshine both for my wallet and my diet.
By installing the app they automatically started a membership without my notice. I received a box all of the sudden this morning and after my phone call directly, all the answers I got is that this was normal and that I will have to pay or otherwise they will send collection agencies to me.
I love HelloFresh, it is always a good decision when you don't know what to prepare for a dinner or don't have time to go to a grocery store. I already had 2 boxes, and I liked everything! I like that you can choose your meal for every box, the recipes change every week. Highly recommend
The recipes are only available in dutch, which given the huge expat community in the Netherlands doesn't make a lot of sense. Having to Google translate everything while cooking is a pain.The recipes themselves are quite good, and the portions are quite big .My main issue is with delivery: on the last delivery no one came, I had to contact support do they'd reschedule. No one came again and like 5h later I get a call from the delivery person who basically forced me to wait for him for 40 minutes and spend an additional 20 minutes chasing him around through the streets because he couldn't be bothered to follow Google Maps.
Super convenient, made life so much easier during the week. No more thinking what to eat or having to go to the store. Its all prepped for you. Meals are really tasty and healthy. Ingredients are super fresh and the best part is their client service is top.
