For the price per week I would expect better. The food is very bland, and some weird recipes - I mean who have 200g of white cabbage with chicken noodles, Asian noodles traditionally have lemon, peanuts and dried chillies. Every recipe the spices, the flavours are so boring and neutral. Also the size of the vegetables are a joke, an onion the size of a small potatoe, ginger tiny, always dried fried onions chilli sauce which just tastes of sugar, always harissa flavours. Get creative guys, stop stitching up your customers with over 100 euros a week, with cheap unwanted veggies from the supermarkets and start giving more flavoured food. Also fix your app, once delivery is done you can’t always see the recipes in English. Also show the real portions on the pictures for the meals you pick, they never match and always much much smaller
The food is good, everything simple and easy. But the delivery - it's not the way it should work: I live in the building with front and backdoor (in my profile it is mentioned) and the driver couldn't get into the building from the backdoor (there is no doorbell), phoned me - i didn't answer as was on another call but was able to open the door (he didn't use the doorbell in the front), and left. The option to reschedule the delivery for tomorrow (why not later today) - is not an option as I needed this box only today and in the morning. Hence my plans were ruined and I needed to change everything for the day.
Probably the worst customer service I’ve dealt with. They act as though they’re doing you a favour for providing the goods you paid for. They failed to delivered multiple deliveries, then just expect you to wait around all day the next day for a random time they decide to deliver it, when it’s really not hard to send a confirmation email that it will be delivered and to take a quick look at the delivery list to see roughly when it’ll be delivered. Really poor communication. Labelling ‘redelivery’ as an ‘extra mile’ and ‘goodwill’ when they didn’t bother to deliver it in the first place is pretty ridiculous. They will then take payment even if they don’t bother again. They need to seriously work on their customer service and remember they’re providing a service that they have to fulfil. They provide no confirmation of delivery, so on your end your left with no proof that it’s meant to happen other than screenshots and they claim they're ‘documenting’ and can’t send the email because it’s an ‘internal’ issue. If communication in a company is so bad that a customer service representative cannot send an email then there needs to be some real changes.
hello fresh is a company that leaves give you no choice but to accept a parcel that you don't want and they only give your reminder when it's too late for you to do anything about it and they contact page and help it is a stupid thing that don't understand what you're saying even though you're speaking in English or Dutch as I said it was the remainder was too late for me to even stop it and by the time I saw the reminder I couldn't cancel it who gets reminder at 3 o'clock in the morning and then take the money the same day
