The shoes are too small in length and width. According to my foot measurements and their size chart there should be plenty of room.I am e-mailing with the fourth person about my shoes size being too small. Everyone has asked different questions and then just stop communicating. Guess they’re running the clock so they can say I’m too late to return.
DO NOT BUY HIKE BALANCE SHOES. The ads are great. They state 30 day return policy. The shoes are worthless garbage. The construction is flimsy. The shoes are way too narrow. No toe box room for wider feet. Buyer Beware: Read the return policy at the bottom of the home page. Returns are accepted within 30 days of the delivery date.To qualify, items must be: - Unused, unworn, and in original condition- Returned in original packaging- Accompanied by proof of purchase (e.g., order number or confirmation email)How are you to determine proper fit without using the damn shoes?I've exchanged 10 emails, including requested pictures, with Support, Emma, Bjorn and Jamie at Hike Balance. An absolute waste of time and money. DO NOT BUY HIKE BALANCE SHOES!
I am furious at Hike Balance. Before I bought their shoes, I checked the address of the company: 8 The Green STE D , Dover, Delaware, 19901, United States. When I received the shoes, they were much too small. I immediately called their number, but it was disconnected. I called twice to make sure. I figured they’d gone out of business. So I tried emailing that I wanted to return them—and they finally replied that for only $32.50, I could get them in a bigger, correct size. Never mind that the quality of the shoes was poor. When I said no, I just wanted to return the shoes for a refund, I was told to take pictures of them as well as the packaging. So okay, I spent time doing that and emailed photos to them. I was then granted a form to fill out, with only a first name ("John") and an address for their return—in Jinhua, China! When I took the carefully wrapped package to the post office, the quoted cost from Seattle was $32.00! And there’s more!!! Because the form required that I send the return with a label on it “with a track & trace code”, the cost shot up to $66.00! The shoes cost $60.00!Shop around and use another company. This is a week later. Because of my review here, they can refund 15% of the 59.95 purchase price. That's only $9. Scumbags.
Buyer beware. Did not know this is a Chinese company. Shoes eventually arrived but were too small. Asked for return instructions (several times) but they offered to get me the right size at a reduced cost. I declined. Just want to return. I now see that the return is to China so who knows how much that will cost (even if they reply to my emails). I think they are just trying to run out the 30 day return policy time. Cheap shoes and bad customer service.
terrible shoespoorly sizedawful to wear will create serious foot harm terrible customer service takes ages for a email responsereturns process a joke "must return within 30days of receipt" it has taken me 30days to get a response to request a returnmore chinese crap DONT BUY THESE SHOESReply to Hike balance replyI have replied ... still waiting for your "prompt " replyI doubt I will get one since you know very well your delay tactics have spent the "return within 30days of purchase" policy and your customer bears the cost of returns scam that it will cost me more to return than it the shoes are worththanks a lot - companies like yours that destroys consumer trust in buying online - good job!
Rec's on 9/4/25. Unhappy with the way they felt - cheap and uncomfortable, so I contacted them immediately. After a few days I received an email back apologizing and then offering me the "opportunity" to spend an additional $35 to get another style of shoe. The email made it sound like that is the only way I will be able to return them. I emailed back and thanked them for their "offer" but reiterated my desire to send them back. Next email was to ask for pictures so they could determine the condition. They were perfect, never worn but I sent the pictures. That was about 3 days ago and again - nothing. I believe they are trying to run out the clock so they do not have to refund me. Well I am writing the BBB and reporting this company. I see I am not the only unhappy customer here.
Where to begin? First off be prepared to wait seemingly for ever for your shoes to arrive. Excitment faded the moment I took them out of the package. These shoes appeared to be slapped together with little regard to comfort. There isn't much in the way of lining to the shoe. I feel the toe box is very narrow, I don't typically have to order wide width shoes. They claim to be true to size, that isn't accurate. My current shoes are an 8.5 in these my big to is trying to burrow out! Then I check the 30 day return policy, customer pays to ship these back to Aisa! In the original packaging which is no more than a taped up plastic bag. If I could give less than one star I would.
