All our experiences with Hike to date have been exceptional. We are very impressed with the simplicity of the POS software - it has been very intuitive and easy to pick up. The guidance documents are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Most of all, the support is exceptional. We have had very rapid responses to even non-urgent queries. We have also been very happy to see that suggestions for improving the software are taken very seriously and implemented very quickly - so far, we have noticed that around 3 or 4 of our suggested improvements have been implemented within 1 month or so. It's great to see that Hike support their customers in a way that benefits Hike and its customers. Thank you for such a great service, for listening, and for making our work easier!
If it consistently did what it promised, this software would be great. But instead, bugs and faults rarely get fixed. You have to argue with them for a few weeks to prove to them that it is a fault as they will try repeatedly telling you that its your fault, its your pc that is the problem, you are doing in wrong etc etc, Then they will "look into it" for weeks on end, with little to no feedback or update. You have to hound them daily to get anything done and even then it is a slow, painful and frustrating process. They need to focus on getting the small bugs fixed before they continue to develop the software any further but they cannot do this without listening to their customers.They announce new features before they are ready or functional. Two years ago they announced that they can integrate with Amazon. This integration is still not functional to this day. I have set up a facebook support group as I feel that users find their own fixes and work arounds and can support each other better than tech support often can. Search: Hike POS - User Support GroupMost of their tutorials are outdated or incomplete.I could go on and on with my many frustrations. This software has lots of potential but it is unreliable. You cant trust it and I currently spend 80% of my working day fixing things or going through long work arounds when this software was supposed to make things quicker and easier!!
HikeUp is an amazing platform. It's intuitive, simple to use, and the inventory system almost perfectly suits our needs.Hike's POS system helps our cashiers work faster, and our manager's keep track of everything that is going (cash payments, inventory/stock quantities, and more).We really like their inventory system (especially the variety of fields), as well as their reporting capabilities. As Hike grows and keeps adding new useful features in the future, we will definitely benefit more from it.Their chat support and customer service is super fast, and always very helpful. Our assigned customer success manager has given us a warm welcome, as well as useful tips and a series of tutorial videos to get the best out of Hike.We are definitely looking forward to future updates, as well as to make use of the integrations with other platforms.
A huge thanks to Saddie & Myles! As a new user to Hike and just setting up, Myles just happened to call and check in as they do to make sure everything is on track. Our current parts system is in a mess and I was just about to embark on doubling our work load when Myles showed me a much easier and simpler way to bring the information over. Thanks again for your patience & assistance Myles, nothing is ever a bother to you and you explains thing in lay mans terms which is really helpful. Have been using this to integrate with WooCommerce, there are lots of glitches that need to be fixed. Some photos don't sync from Hike to WooCommerce, products are put in the wrong category, other products are synced as variable products when they were meant to be simple products. If they could fix all these issues then I would be happy to keep using Hike as it's an Australian business, but if we are losing money or missing out on sales then there is no point in continuing to use this product.
We started using Hike for our POS a few months ago. We required assistance to get daily reporting in a format that we could load into our existing Financial suite.Hike were very helpful - they listened to our requirements, came back with questions to clarify and confirm our goals, and then rolled out the report within a month.The support people were all very courteous and eager to assist us, and the solution is very customer friendly.We're happy we chose Hike and we're looking forward to the coming year.
Awesome affordable software. They've helped us so much, we get ripped off by local software developers, so even paying in $'s, its still more affordable then local options. Its also 10x better then any other software I've used, and we've been operating since 2012.
