I’ve been using Hilo for a few weeks now and I honestly love it. It’s so much easier than the old cuff monitor I had—no more squeezing or stress. I just wear it like a bracelet and get my readings throughout the day. It’s really helped me stay on top of my health without even thinking about it.
Hi, the monitor works relatively fine, the things that need to improve in my opinion are :1. It has to be water-resistant, taking it of every time near water is annoying. 2. Calibration succeeds every few times and base changes dramatically after calibration making me doubt the previous or current reading accuracy. 3. The provided strap has created a strong rash on my arm and i had to replace it 4-5 days after starting use with a 14mm nato watch strap or it was painful and problematic.
The product works incredibly well but the one problem I have with it is that after a few days of waring it I develop a very itchy inflamed rash around the strap. I can control this a bit by periodically taking it off and washing, but this doesn't prevent it completely. I feel this has to be something to do with the material that it is made of and it seems there are no alternatives available and this is a shame.
I am impressed with this.It's accurate and basically does what it says on the tin. When you charge it make sure the base is clean. My only quibble is the difficulty with the strap and can be difficult to get the connection when placing it on the charger
