Lisa organised a fantastic family holiday to Sri Lanka. She totally understood the brief and we had the trip of a lifetime. We visited so many different parts of the country and all the activities and hotels were spot on. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Holiday Architects, a great experience from beginning to end.
We have just had the most amazing 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. We initially looked at using another tour company however once I spoke to Dawn I felt like she knew the country so well and it felt we would get the detail in the planning of the trip. I really appreciated all the tips that came once we had booked, they were so useful. We would definitively recommend Dawn, Holiday Architects and their Sri Lankan counterparts Pan Lankan. It was so nice to have everything planned in advance and most things were pre paid so made it easy to turn up at the hotels/activities. Smooth sailing and I will definitely look to use Holiday Architects for our next special trip.
Using Holiday Architects for our trip to Costa Rica was definitely a good decision. Dawn offered great advice and options and the organisation / transfers on the trip itself were first class. An unforgettable holiday for the family!
This was the 2nd time I’ve used Holiday Architects - they are absolutely excellent. We have just returned from a perfect trip to Canada to travel and visit friends which Paul Turner brought together excellently. Last year Fenton arranged for my daughter and I to visit Japan. His attention to detail and ability to suggest how the trip could be tailored to our particular interests was totally outstanding. This is the only travel company I’ll use to arrange future trips.
We had a marvelous family holday in Kuala Lumpur and Borneo. Booking arrangements, organisation and support throughout from Ian Lowbridge at Holiday Architects was first class. Collection and delivery throughout our stay was highly efficient and timely and the guides in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu were excellent, attentive and informative, though perhaps a tad less so in Sepilok. By and large accommodation was excellent
Thank you for the wonderful family trip to Vietnam that you organised for us this August. I had been a little apprehensive about travelling around with the kids but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. In particular, the local guides were excellent - they engaged with all of our group, helped us understand the lives of the local people a little better, and were excellent hosts. Accommodation/food/boat trips/cycle trips were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the the quick cycle trip through the peaceful and pretty Mekong delta and would definitely recommend that.
We have just returned from a trip to Chile, our 3rd holiday tailor made by Holiday Architects. Louise was extremely friendly and professional sharing her expert knowledge of Chile and listened to everything we wanted without any 'hard sell' of tours etc. She was also very efficient and timely at putting together ideas and changing things for us as we built our ideal itinerary. The HA website is a great resource and the choice of hotels depending on what style and budget you have has always been great at helping us pick very individual, lovely properties. We arranged just a couple of half day private tours through Louise and these were led by really nice guys in each city and we learnt so much more than if we had just walked around on our own. All our transfers between hotels were seamless and the company HA used out in Chile were first class. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will carry on using them for organising trips in the future.
