Everything was incredible from initial contact to flying home. Dawn Smith was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. We went to Peru and had very specific requirements of what we wanted to do whilst we were there - Dawn was able to accommodate everything. As it was a full on agenda the commication with us regarding pick ups everyday was spot on and everyone went over and above to make our stay special and we were definitely treated incredibly well. For example - we had a 2 day boat trip and left most of our luggage at our hotel. Timing was tight as when we got off the boat we then had to go to the airport to catch one of our 7 flights. The representative in peru actually collected our luggage from the hotel to save us time to get to the airport ASAP. WOW. Everything was thought about to make our holiday memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you - we can't wait to book through holiday architects again and would highly recommend you as a holiday agent.
Just back from a fortnight in Jordan, expertly organised by Catherine at Holiday Architects, and impeccably supported by HA's in-country agents UTA. It's a fascinating country, and its people were universally welcoming, helpful and patient. HA managed to match their selection of hotels, activities and driver support to our tastes and interests, and were flexible and quick to respond if change was needed. Their advice/survival guide on restaurants, local customs etc was also excellent. They deserve the highest resommendation.
Having used HA for a fabulous family trip to Costa Rica in 2019 we were confident they would be ideal to book our long wished-for trip to tour Japan. Fenton was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in helping us plan our itinerary based on our initial ideas. He made sure to balance ‘holding our hand’ with booking train tickets & guides etc with allowing us the time & freedom to explore the various locations by ourselves. There was ample opportunity in advance to resolve any questions we had and we enjoyed our holiday immensely knowing how to get any support we might need (we didn’t!) while we were in Japan. Thanks to Fenton and Holiday Architects for a tailor-made trip to remember.
We were recommended Holiday Architects by friends and I’m so glad we used them! Normally I book independent travel but I didn’t know South Africa at all and had a lot we wanted to do in a short space of time. Catherine created a perfect itinerary for us, judging well how long made sense in each of our 3 locations, finding amazing accommodation, booking perfectly reliable flights and transfers and suggesting a whole host of excellent activities. It took all the hassle out of the trip for me and I would both be keen to return to South Africa again and certainly my would use Holiday Architects again without hesitation. Superb!
HA were really helpful with organising our holiday to South Africa, Catherine listened to all our needs and gave her advice on where to go, things we could do and which Safari experience to book, recommended really comfortable, safe and clean boutique hotels we stayed at. We had the perfect itinerary for us. We did everything we wanted to within our set budget and we were well looked after by our guides. Everything was seamless and i highly recommend HA they made it super easy. This is my second holiday HA organised for me and already planning the next one.
This is our third time holidaying with Holiday Architects and there’s a reason we keep coming back for more. Each time, the destination managers plan trips based on their deep rooted knowledge of each location and our preferences for activities, transport, and hotels. Having expert guidance, whilst also balancing personal preferences means that each holiday is planned to perfection and everything runs smoothly. We haven’t encountered any issues, but the security of knowing there are 24/7 helplines available should anything go awry is also a nice comfort blanket. Throughly recommend HA to everyone!
Catherine and the team at Holiday Architects arranged our 23 day trip to South Africa, Cape Town and the Garden Route. The trip exceeded our expectations and in line with our wishes was packed with activities and suggestions. The suggested accommodation and the three-day safari were wonderful. Unlike other companies HA were happy to plan us a long trip only taking in Cape Town and the Garden Route without flying internally to the battlefields or beyond enabling us to save those adventures for another trip. There is plenty to do and fabulous beaches, scenery and walks while heading east from Cape Town after enjoying the wine region. We preferred Franschhoek, where we stayed, to Stellenbosch that we passed through when visiting the wine region, but Cape Constantia is certainly worth visiting too if you have time in Cape Town along with the stunning botanical gardens.This was our fist trip with HA and enjoyed it so much we are already booked for our next trip with them, this time in Peru.
We have just returned from an incredible trip to South Africa travelling the Garden Route. I contacted Holiday Architects 2 weeks before our departure date looking for holidays ideas and am so grateful we were put in contact with Lisa. Lisa really understood the type of holiday we were after and pulled together the itinerary (in limited time) which led to us having the most amazing trip. I cannot recommend South Africa and the Garden Route enough. Incredible scenery, food and people. A particular highlight was staying at the Lalibela Wildlife Reserve. I will definitely be using Holiday Architects again in the future. They (Lisa!) made booking the trip so easy. The holiday app they provided was so helpful along with the additional information Lisa provided. It really felt like everything had been thought of! Thank you Lisa!!
Kirsty organised a special family holiday for us to South Africa and couldn’t have been more helpful and thorough with travel tips, driving directions and suggestions of what to do (and pack!). The places we stayed in were all lovely for different reasons and she planned a great mix of relaxation, activity and safari as the final highlight. All the arrangements went smoothly and we felt well-supported throughout - love the HA app! This was a bigger trip than we’ve done for years and we were in really good hands with Kirsty - she knows her stuff and she put care and thought into tailoring the holiday to our preferences and budget. We’d happily use HA again!
Just returned from an amazing first trip to Japan. Fenton put together a fantastic itinerary and we really felt that we saw and experienced so much more than if we'd tried to do it ourselves.
