AGENTS BEWARE! I am currently on hold with my credit card company disputing the charges for the monthly subscription. I signed with Homes.com on July 26th of this year and quickly discovered that my representative, Michael Wycoff misrepresented the platform/product. If your goal is to build business in a brand-new area, this is NOT the platform for you as your profile lists your sales statistics from the last 5 years. If you've not produced in that area, you are screwed! The lead will obviously pick an agent with recent sales in that area. This information should have been shared during the consultation and now I've spent the last three weeks trying to cancel with no success. I've spoken to my rep countless times, two customer service agents and my rep's director yesterday. They are not budging. I should add, it's been three weeks, and I've had two bad leads (investor talking with multiple agents and the other bad number/email) and one that I feel is a plant (not real). Seasoned agent with 19 yrs. experience in the State of Arizona (Phoenix area). New area, White Mountains, Arizona
IF YOU ARE A REALTOR DO NOT SIGN UP FOR LEADS!!!!!!! We are realtors in Utah and signing up with them has been the worst choice we’ve made. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! We’ve received one lead per month and they were ALL SCAMS OR THE LEAD DIDNT EVEN KNOW WHAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT. They will not let us cancel. If you are considering it because their Super Bowl ads were so good and you think they will start to blossom as a company…ABORT ABORT!!!
Be very very careful when signing their contract. I usually never write negative reviews. I just let it go. But this one really took the cake. They will promise you a 90 day trial but have you on a year subscription. When the say "you can get out with-in 90 days" they really mean, you cant get out until the 90th day if you change your mind and still have you under a year contracts. I have received one person lead and that was a tire kicker not even interested in anything to purchase. I would never enter in a contract with a company that forces a year. Real Estate is a fluid up and down business. And sometimes your budget has to be just as fluid to pull back on marketing and advertising. Their company doesn't allow you to do this. So if you have a slow month or quarter or year, you will be forced to pay for something you cant afford or even use. BUYER BEWARE! Update: Rob their GM I guess called and it has been a week since he said he would stop the account but never called to confirm as he said he would. And then I get a random call for customer service to give a rating on how I liked or disliked their service. And still no confirmation back. AGAIN. BUYER BEWARE! They do not care about you and customer service. Only if you are paying them is all they care about at this point.
Home is mice and roach infested. Owner refuses to getting broken ac fixed. Electrical problems. Plumbing problems as well. Owner is a cheapskate. Rooms are small. Floor creek when you walk. Be prepared to to have snakes in the backyard. House has a ton of problems that the owner doesn't tell you about. BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY!!!
Why can’t reviews be a ZERO. Homes.com website is terrible! You apply certain filters (e.g. one story and private pool) then the site returns hundreds of 2-stories and many without pools! BEYOND FRUSTRATING! Won’t use this site ever again!!!
