When delivering a mattress, the bagging was not air tight, the mattress itself was pearly low quality in contrast to its advertised. The worker delivered it by foot—as in he kicked the mattress with his bare feet over to my door. Horrid and disgusting.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from IKEA.

My original delivery was incomplete — only half of my order arrived. I had to contact IKEA myself to report the issue and arrange a redelivery. I was asked when it would be convenient, and I agreed to wait at home again for the replacement items.

Now, weeks later, I received a call saying my rescheduled delivery has been cancelled because the boxes are “damaged.” After spending over an hour on the phone with customer service, I was told my only options are to either collect the items myself or wait another week for delivery. This is after already waiting three weeks.

To make matters worse, I was then told by a “specialist” that I should take an Uber and collect the packages myself from a location an hour away.

I am seven months pregnant. Being told to arrange my own transport to collect items that IKEA failed to deliver correctly is unacceptable.

This situation is entirely due to IKEA’s errors, yet I am the one being inconvenienced repeatedly. The lack of ownership, poor communication, and unreasonable expectations placed on customers is shocking.

This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with IKEA, and I will seriously reconsider shopping here again if this is how customers are treated when things go wrong.

I dedicated a significant amount of time searching for the exact item I needed, placed my order, and believed everything was settled — only for the order to be canceled without any valid reason. After waiting almost an hour to connect with a representative, I was informed that “the system canceled the order.” There was no explanation, no resolution, nothing. Just a complete waste of my time and effort. This level of service is unacceptable. If the company cannot fulfill orders or provide clear explanations to customers, it severely undermines trust. A very poor experience.

Brimnes bookcase issues

After over 50 years of assembling furniture, this has been the worst experience. The holes on the wooden base shelf were misaligned. The pieces meant to secure the screws are now plastic instead of the sturdier metal ones. These plastic components broke without any spare supplies available. This product has been a complete nightmare.

Disappointing experience with availability

As a long-time customer, I was very let down by my experience recently. I tried to buy two wardrobes I saw in-store, but they weren't available online. After contacting support, I was put on a live chat for over two hours. When I finally got the link to purchase, the assembly and delivery fees were quoted at $1,151, which seemed misleading compared to the in-store prices. This huge difference led me to cancel my order. Poor customer service experience

I had one of the worst experiences with customer service. The staff seemed untrained and unsure about their own products. I spoke to multiple representatives just to buy a simple couch, yet no one could match the in-store discounted price. The online chat was excruciatingly slow, and no one took responsibility for resolving my issue. This is very disappointing for such a well-known brand.

My visit for the Gustaf Westman collaboration was a disaster. I arrived before opening only to find the pink lamp sold out, with only a limited number available per store. Additionally, advertised spring vases were not in stock. Overall, I'm not satisfied.
