I have used TurboTax for many years with no problems. However, this year I filed self-employed and was told that the total amount for the filing of both the federal and state return was $137.85. I gave TurboTax permission to deduct my fees from my income tax refund. Since, I have never had a problem with them I did not worry about it. However, when I received my refund they took out the $137.85 plus an additional $39.99! What a thief; using the IRS to embezzle people's money. I plan on filing a complaint with the IRS.
