6...7? years and counting now with utter lack of support. Everything is automated and appeals are ignored.For the past year there's been a huge increase in FALSE bans by their archaic systems, disgusting for a company their size in 2023. These false bans would never be an issue if they had actual tickets driven by support workers with ACTUAL privileges to check appeals for evidence, which they do not.Over 40 cases and counting now where someone got falsely banned, appeals automatically denied, and then after manual intervention by the MAGIC of twitter, reddit or direct jagex moderator contact, their ban is lifted because it was in fact placed in error.Yet they fail to add any sort of safety net even to this day, we're talking accounts with thousands of hours put into them before this just randomly happens one day.Fixing the issue "per case" is not enough, I've personally been involved in over 20 such cases with friends in the community to have them resolved, until their recent change in the anti-cheat department cut us off completely.On top of all of this their joke of a support channel on twitter under "@JagexSupport" is run by people who aren't even working for the company seemingly these are 95% "community helpers", voluntary staff, ridiculous. Every single false ban case I've witnessed since 2015 has had the same fake-reply with lies spewed by said support account, stating that there's nothing that can be done about the bans when they're permanent, yet here we are with 40+ such cases resolved since.
Customer support is nonexistent, they don't care about you as a person. They fail to address any real issues in game. They do not ban bots as it helps inflate their player numbers and generate additional streams of revenue. I'm sure they are doing this to inflate their overall value of the company when the next sucker of a private equity firm buys them up. I am convinced that 30-40% of the entire player base is just bots. They only want your money to further the interests of the private equity firm that they graciously place a pillow to kneel down before for them.Their lack of customer support or willingness to help even some of their most loyal fans who have been playing for nearly two decades, make EA, Ubisoft, and comcast look like Saints compared Jagex. Lets be honest. Jagex don't have anything that is called ''customer service'' nowadays. Its not in their mind to hire a human person to handle cases but internal affairs. Its all an automatic filter because they don't got the guts or social skills to speak or write to an actual living person. Please just be honest and state on you webside''JAGEX, if you looked for customer service, better go to Best Buy''Over an out.
Honestly, I dont know if there was ever an important update Jagex didnt f**ck up. They really dont care about YOU and its all for member fees for them. My account just went ghost mode when i transfered to the jagex account management system and there is no possibility of getting it back because there is an error showing for 5 months and there is no customer support available.. Thanks for ruining the childhood game of many people with your utmost disrespect for your players.
Unable to login to my account on the Jagex Launcher - spent the last 30 minutes trying to find a way to contact Jagex to report the problem, but after seeing all of these negative reviews on here and across other websites, its painfully obvious that there is no way to contact Jagex. The only method to perhaps resolving a problem you have are a few pathetic articles written on their support centre, without any option to contact support in the case that your issue is not present/you still can't resolve it. Now I'm stuck without being able to log into my RS account, which has a paid membership I might add, and no way to report an issue, or even find out why I can't get into my account.Truly disgusting, and makes you wonder who exactly the people running such an organisation are.
Don't play any of Jagex's games or give them your money. They have no customer service and treat you like you're nothing to them unless you're a streamer/content creator. Imagine a company that does not have a dedicated customer service portal where you can contact a human being about any sort of issues you may be having with the game. Also, the anti-cheat team is a joke. Letting bots run rampant throughout the game while they ban mains played by real players.Why would you ban someone who botted a few levels versus the guy who has 50K+ kc at vorkath who has obviously made money from your game? So the person who bots for their own personal LEVEL gains is in more trouble than the person illegally profitting from your game? You guys are bogus and litearlly have no logic. I hope this company falls to the ground.
