Worst paint I have ever used

Worst paint I have ever used, painted room with Apple Flower Kitchen and after doing the first wall it was obvious it was no good, I was covering a light cream so expected an easy job, big mistake, after 3 coats it looked like I had used a rake to apply it, also had a job washing the brush afterwards, it was like grease in the bristles, after 4 coats and still with a patchy wall I gave up, bought a tin of Dulux and problem solved, never again Johnstone, wasted 2 days messing with this useless paint, at £22 a tin what a Rip-off.

This is the worst paint ever

This is the worst paint ever. We have decorated a 4 bed house right through big mistake as we bought all the paint at the same time. Every colour is nothing like it is on the tin or the leaflet. Its got shocking coverage and takes forever to dry. Manhattan grey. Really no its BLUE. Frosted silver BLUE moonlite grey yep you guessed it BLUE. Ballet shoe pink is PLUM. We have spent a lot of money and its all been a waste no only of money but time too. Never will buy Johnson's again

Johnstones 'One coat' or maybe five coats

Johnstones 'One coat' satin wood paint. 3 coats later its patchy and peels off by touching it. Tippex would have done a better job. Tried it on new wood and sanded wood and got the same result.

Paint has blistered

Painted walls last year in grey.. Repainted the other day in white and it hasn't stuck its lifting off like blisters and it just scrapes off...and if you wipe finger over it your finger is white too. It looked a mess so hat too scrap it all off and redo again but with the same grey. Grrrrrrr

Not as good a paint as I thought.

I'm painting my hall at the minute and for the last few days thought I was doing something wrong till I realised it was the paints fault. The paint is supposed to be matt but its come out both matt and sheen. It's all patchy and looks awful. I've bought Crown paint to redo my whole hall. Never again will I use this paint. Thought I would go for the slightly cheaper paint because it was my hall but I've learned my lesson. Cheaper paint equals twice the work.

Probably the worst paint ever

Probably the worst paint ever - don’t be taken in by the price and think you have bagged a bargain. You will end up using twice as much paint and even then the coverage is poor. Thankfully Woodies were very accommodating and gave me a full refund - no questions. Reckon I wasn’t the first to complain.

Bought non drip gloss

Bought non drip gloss, and still 6 weeks later its tacky and if you catch it, with hoover or touch against door frame, it peels off. Customer service said it takes a while to cure, but 6 weeks is a joke. Need to be painted again, but not with JOHNSTONES!
