Johnstone washable matt paint. The worst paint coverage that I have ever used, horrendous, patchy coverage. The only reason i gave it 2 stars is for the colour which is fine and the price is cheaper than Dulux. Sorry, back to dulux for me this paint os hard work!
I've been painting most of my life, so it's not me. I've been applying 'Blue Star' to a small bathroom. I'll have to buy another tin tomorrow. Two coats in and it'll need a third coat at least. Absolutely shocked by the coverage. First and last time I'll use johnstones. It gets one star because the colour is lovely. Darker than what's advertised but lovely all the same. As a previous review mentioned, I should have read this first. Avoid at all cost. Don't even take it for nothing. It'll break your heart. Nightmare of a job.
Wish I’d read these before I bought it I always use valspar paints But the ques in b and q where ridicules So tried this Three coats and still patchy I’ve now used valspar and covered in one coat Deffo will not be using or recommending this to anyone
Astonishing..how do you stay in business making a matt paint which..as has been mentioned here.. takes a day to dry has abominable coverage and is almost greasy.. the Midnight Sapphire I'm applying is laughable..it's as though I'm painting on shiny plastic..it won't stick or cover ???? will return to The Range and get the Dulux product
This paint is without doubt the most inferior of anything I have ever used, finished a room only to be totally shocked next morning to discover the amount patches on the finished coats. Preparation had been carried out as normal, walls washed and allowed dry, new rollers and brushes for cutting in. Applied second coat to no avail, a complete waste of time and effort, the finished coat seems very prone to scratching from any type of contact, avoid at all costs
