Worst coverage ever

Bought 2 tins of pink starburst, absolute terrible coverage! I’ve used nearly 2 2.5ltr tins in a box room and I need to do another coat which will be coat 3!! I’ve bought other colours to do the rest of my newly renovated house but after today’s disaster they will be going back. Total waste of time and money

What a great experience

What a great experience. The couple who run the Reading store are friendly and super helpful. I used the washable matt Manhattan Grey. Fantastic! This paint is beautiful to use. Nice & thick, no splatter, highly recommend this brand!

Very poor quality paint, like milk

Bought 5 litres of white emulsion to paint a ceiling and undercoat the walls of a room. It is the worst paint I have ever used, like painting with milk, even after stirring it for a long time. I did the walls first and I'm glad I did as I'd need to buy a new carpet if I tried to paint the ceiling with it. It goes everywhere, even with sheets down. It was a bit cheaper than the others, now I know why !

Avoid this poor quality paint

Completely stripped back, primed and undercoated door frame. I used Johnstone’s brilliant white gloss. One coat on and it’s barely touched it, if I carry on with this stuff I estimate it will need at least 4 coats to get a half decent finish.Do yourselves a favour and stick to dulux it’s far superior quality To this Johnstone’s rubbish.

Manhattan grey in sheen no 4

Used Manhattan grey in sheen no 4 as it was cheaper than usual brand. Terrible coverage, walls needed 3 coats & blistered badly. I am a experienced painter but always used Dulux. Never buying johnstone brand again. Dont buy it will break your heart and will end up paying for it 😫

I’ve used most paint suppliers over…

I’ve used most paint suppliers over many years and Johnstone’s is by far my favoured product. In my experience superior to most others.

Worse paint I have ever used

Worse paint I have ever used. Rest of my apartment I used Dulux but picked this paint as I liked the grey colour. Summer storm is actually blue and I'm on my third coat of it and it's still patchy . Not wasting any more time I will try do with a proper paint from Dulux
