My balance was stolen before I could even register. The company is either unable or unwilling to restore it. It was a Canadian card in Canadian funds, used fraudulently in the US. Their dispute process is vague and designed to frustrate customers into giving up, with constant requests for more information, dropped calls, and long wait times.
I had this card for about a month with a balance of $100. When I tried to use it today, it was declined because it showed a $0 balance. It turns out my card was used fraudulently elsewhere in the province. I've been unable to get my money back or reach an actual person for customer service.
How is this card and website considered legitimate? I received a $300 gift card, but the registration process is broken and requires a call, which leads to an automated system. It would be better to invest in real customer support instead of this frustrating cycle. I've seen these traps before, where customers are sold a product but can't get help when needed. It's a terrible experience, and I advise everyone to choose a different card.
When trying to register any card or check the balance online, none of the sites work. It's astonishing that this company is still operating. This has been an ongoing issue for about a year, and every time I reach out, they say the problem is being fixed, which feels like a lie.
I have a $50 Joker card. I was able to register and the moment after registering the amount is immediately showing $5 less. Now I want to use it for no avail, all of them failed. I tried at Boston Pizza, Canadian Tire but of no luck. This card is a scam. Government should intervene and shut down their business before this will further escalate for more scammed consumers. If there is 0 rating that is what they deserved.
I am beyond furious. I bought a Joker prepaid Visa for $500 at a legitimate store, and when I went to use it within an hour it’s DRAINED to $0!!! There are phantom transactions listed that I did not authorize including $340 from some US website I never visited?? JokerCard itself has zero customer support no real humans, no fraud line, nothing.I lost $500 on a brand new, untouched card. I don’t care about any “protection” they claim exists, it does not work. This is a SCAM company, and they are stealing people’s money. Stay the hell away from these cards.I really hope this customer support reaches out to help because I have no idea what to doUPDATE: Blackhawk network customer service reached out within a few days. Although I don’t think this is the actual joker card company I believe this is their head provider so I don’t wish to change my review on the product itself. But BHN investigated my case, asked for some details and eventually they gave me a call and confirmed that the transactions were not authorized. They very promptly issued me a virtual prepaid visa for the full amount of $500. The representative was very polite and helpful. He gave me his name and contact in case anything didn’t go as planned or if I needed anything else. Everything was professional, and I’m really grateful for their help.
