Someone gave my son a $25 Joker card, he tried to buy Roblox online and it doesnt work. After I tried to register the card online and it asks you for a lot of personal info, including submitting your photo ID. For $25 I'm not risking identity theft, this is ridiculous.
I bought two JOKER prepaid cards from two different stores – I haven’t been able to activate or use either of them. I’ve tried multiple times, on different websites and devices, but nothing works. I contacted the stores – they claim everything went through correctly on their end and say they can’t help. In reality, I’ve lost $100.This feels like a complete scam – the company offers no real support, and the customer is left with nothing. I strongly warn others: don’t buy these cards, you’ll only lose your money and patience.Update: After posting my original review, I was contacted by JOKER’s customer support. It turned out the issue was related to a security check. The team was very helpful and sent me new, working cards. I appreciate their prompt response and assistance. While the initial experience was frustrating, the situation was ultimately resolved in a positive way. Thank you for your help.
My mother was scammed (someone convinced her to purchase a gift card for them as part of the scam). I called to try to cancel through their phone number by reporting lost or stolen. They would do nothing without the credit card number. I don't have the card! How am I supposed to know what the number is? How is anyone supposed to have their card number if it was lost or stolen? I had the receipt but apparently that was not enough. Zero care or compassion from the customer service representative on the phone. Scammers, this card is a great choice for you!
The worst gift card to have. Lost almost over 200 dollars. Used the card in walmart and we lost the rest from a name called daisy. (Seems like a scam). Complained through the appropriate email provided. They said they cannot refund them. Please do not buy their cards.
This was supposed to be a $100 gift card. When I could not register or activate it online, I called customer service. The number (with live person) was not on the card - but I got it indirectly via their website. I was told by them that my $100 card (which I had not even registered or activated yet) had a balance of only 13 cents on it -and there have been some paypal transactions on this card (as some other reviewers have also mentioned). How is that even possible? I was then referred / transferred to the dispute team. The dispute team asked for my name, email, and mailing address before they could proceed to resolve the issue. Considering this is a gift card, they should not insist on collecting my personal information to be able to assist me.I honestly think they are scammers and other comments on this page only reiterate that suspicion. If there are multiple visa gift cards with exactly the same number, how can Joker be a legit business? If it is legit, it is certainly not one I would recommend or trust.Is there anyone at all for whom Joker's gift card worked at first go? I WILL NEVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING OR ACCEPTING A JOKER GIFT CARD AGAINEXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED SINCE THESE CARDS SELL AT LEGIT RETAIL STORES - AND SO UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS WITH GOOD INTENTIONS OF GETTING SOMEONE A GIFT MAY NOT ONLY END UP LOSING MONEY BUT ALSO WASTING THEIR TIME AND ENERGY TRYING TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE WITH THE JOKER TEAM. SADLY MANY OF US DISCOVER THE LOW RATING AND NEGATIVE REVIEWS ONLY AFTER LOSING MONEY OURSELVES.Update- July 23, 2025The request from Joker asks for full name, phone number and email. Message for Joker - When I called you, you asked for full name, email and mailing address. When none of these were required to buy a card, why should they be required now? How do I know you won't misuse my information when you've already lost all credibility? If you genuinely want to help, you should help based on the card details. I was willing to provide email when I called but you said you will need a mailing address also- which I am not willing to share with people I don't trust. Also, you may then ask for ID verification - sorry you're asking for too much in return for a scam card that is nothing but a trouble-maker.
I received a card at the beginning of the year, I couldn't register it online as the website was down, so I registered it over the phone. I continued to have issues with it not working, so I tucked it away and didn't think about it again until today, tried to register again - didn't work. Tried to call - didn't work, tried to speak to someone on the phone - didn't work. There is $250.00 gone.
Card is a scam. Registered one day ago. Now I suddenly can't check balance or use it anywhere. Should've taken the hint from the company name before I bought. Please remove yourself from all convenient and grocery stores. Vanilla and The Perfect Gift Card are so much better.
