an absolute nightmare. how is it this hard to register a card? the website didn't work, giving me an error message. i tried calling the number, only to be given no option to register (even though the automated voice told me it was a possibility). called again in the morning hoping to connect with a real agent only to be told my card information no longer matched their records. was told to press 1 to connect with an agent, upon which the automated voice promptly told me "goodbye" and hung up the call. what the hell? where are the real people behind this team? what an incredibly faulty and inconvenient system, how have there been no changes after this many complaints? i had $100 on that card and don't even know if it's accessible anymore.
A friend gave me a Joker Mastercard prepaid card. When I tried to register the card on the website after the 24-hour grace period, I got a message saying something like: "We are unable to process your request at this time. If you continue to receive this error, please contact the cardholder's services by calling the number on the back of your card." I called the number as indicated in the post, but I was surprised to find myself connected to some kind of AI-powered customer support system. There was no human agent to assist me, and although I provided all the requested information, I was told they couldn't help me and they hung up on me. I then tried to pay in a store, thinking it was just a glitch, but unfortunately, it wasn't, and my payment was declined in front of everyone. I also tried placing an online order, but again, it didn't go through. I searched for a customer support email address to report my problem, but again, I couldn't find anything. I'm not usually one to judge, but it's unacceptable and unprofessional for a company of this size to have a problem. I hope someone from customer support can find me so as not to further damage the company's reputation and so that this doesn't happen to anyone else!!! Sorry for being harsh but somebody had to do it
I attempted to activate the card online but faced failure. After multiple tries on my phone, I finally succeeded after three attempts. However, when I tried to make an online purchase, the card was declined. I attempted to check my balance, but the website blocked me. When I called, the card indicated it wasn't activated. I went to a gas station and was able to buy a pack of gum, proving it was activated. This situation feels almost like a scam, and contacting support is impossible due to the automated system. I recommend reaching out to the Better Business Bureau with your concerns, as they are more likely to address them.
The name says it all; my card was compromised before I even had the chance to make a purchase. This seems to be a frustratingly common issue. As expected, there is little support available, and the contact phone line is just an automated message. If you're considering this as a gift, think twice—it's not worth the hassle.
If you're looking to spend hours on hold without any resolution, then this gift card option might be for you. I was initially told that I would receive a replacement virtual card within 24–48 hours, which never occurred. When I followed up, a representative claimed his records indicated I was promised the replacement by 5:30 p.m. on December 26. However, during another call on December 28 at 11:30 p.m., he insisted that the 48-hour window had not yet elapsed. I was then escalated to a supervisor who informed me that my original card had never been activated, despite having a receipt clearly indicating it was activated for $200. I've encountered issues with fraudulent cards before, and typically, customer service resolves these matters. This situation was completely different. The company has taken no responsibility, forcing me to dispute the charge with my credit card provider. These gift cards reflect poorly on the payment network—especially as we approach 2026. Let’s clarify: the time from December 26 to December 28 is indeed two days. Basic math seems to be a challenge.
The customer service is incredibly poor; I can't reach a real person for assistance. Additionally, after spending $50, the card shows a balance of $50 but gets declined on every online transaction. This has been a complete waste of money and time. I'm very frustrated.
I activated a card with a balance of $120, but when I tried to make a purchase, it was declined due to 'payment not supported.' I checked online and found a $0 balance. This is a total scam, and my child lost her birthday money. I've reported this to the police and will contact the headquarters for further action. It's disheartening to think of how many others might fall victim to this, especially around the holidays!
