Beware they are a scam and someone on the same day I activated the Joker gift card, the money was stolen immediately. I contacted the customer service number, and they sent me an email requesting my government-issued ID and other stuff. Do not pursue the compromised card it is a scam. We lost $500 on this card
I got 2x $200 Joker prepaid Visa cards to use for Ubers around my city. I’ve only used $217.42 worth of Ubers (trips + tips), but Joker card declined and it shows that I’ve cumulatively used $268.90. They’ve overcharged me by $51.48. I checked the balances and all my uber transactions and they charged me twice for one of the transactions - they charged it once on one of the cards, uber informed me the card didn’t have sufficient funds so I put it on the other card only for them to not actually refund me at all. This is unacceptable. If you put in $400 into prepaid Visa cards, you should be able to use the $400, not be scammed like this. I tried to reach out to customer service as well but it’s basically all robots. I can’t get to a person.
GET YOUR CARDS SCANNED BEFOTRE LEAVING THE TILLI bought myself a card worth $25, and I legitimately had to wait and stop to watch the cashier, and even had to ask them. "Aren't you going to scan my card?" To which they was all "oh, yeah sorry."ONLINE PURCHASE LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT REGISTRATIONAfter getting my card, I went to the site on the card, and I can't even register the card OR check the balance of the card. This is literally stacked against you, leaving customers in the dark about THEIR MONEY. Due to this alone, I will never buy Joker again. Not to mention how many people have left the till without even having their card scanned.Jokercard is very untrustworthy, and I would suggest going through Paypal and ordering a prepaid visa from them. It will take longer, but at least then you wouldn't have to deal with such a shady company with your money.
I bought a prepaid Visa card for my dad. He doesn't live in Canada so he likes to get them when he's here so he can shop online when he's back home.We had several problems registering the card. It failed inexplicably several times after the 24-hr wait for activation. When we finally registered it, I registered it under his name and email but my physical address since it required a Canadian address. His first purchase worked as expected. The card has not worked since. Additionally, on their website, when I check the balance, there are charges for ~$37 CAD (~$24 USD + a foreign transaction fee) which aligns with what my dad bought. But ~$50 has been taken off the card.I called them to address the two issues and it was a nightmare. The number on the card goes to an automated system with no option to talk to a human. You have to dig through pages of terms and agreements on their website to find the number to speak to a human. Then, when I spoke to someone, I was not allowed to do anything because it was registered in my dad's name. Even though I had all the card info. After speaking with four different agents, I eventually had to add my dad to a conference call at a huge cost. The information they "confirmed" was just my address that I relayed to him. And after all that, they were not able to tell me why the card was not working. And according to their magical system, the first transaction was for ~$49 CAD plus the transaction fee. They could not tell me why this was different from the online portal.0/5 stars. I am never using their services again and I would not recommend them to my least favourite person.
I received gift card for Christmas it expired in 2026 after trying numerous times to activate , call , email for help and never getting any assistance I would say this is the worst gift card ever . Unbelievable how you cannot get any help . This card will not work and you can’t get help . Don’t buy them!!! Edit . I sent an email back to you . Edit never heard another thing after sending back information you requested . What a waste of money for the person who gifted this to me. Shame on you.
The name is a perfect fit for what it is.The name sets the expectations right where it needs to be. The whole thing is a joke. I’ve got the card as a gift, made a purchase and had to return the item.$28 of a refund was made but the card was keep telling me no it’s $19 and whole bunch of nonsense.Their website also never works don’t even waste your money or time.
Got a $100 card as a mat leave gift. Used half and the other was lost to a PayPal transaction I did not make. Very disappointing that there are no protections against scammers using your card. Even more upsetting that this was a gift I couldn't use during a financially difficult time.
At my request my son bought me a Jokercard that I had problems registering. Eventually, we were able to register the card and used it for one transaction on AliExpress. Subsequent attempts to purchase anything with the card failed, and it took so many attempts to check the balance on the card. When we succeeded, the balance on the card was less than it should be, meaning it recorded me as using much more cash than I actually did. I doubt if I would ever buy another Jokercard.
Literally a scam, i bought a 85$ card, i use them alot but i knew something was fishy because the cards stopped working very easily.I did two purchases and wrote how much $$ there is left, from 85$, to 52$ then 20$, when there is 20$ left, the card completely stops working and if i try to check the balance, it says that they cant do anything at the moment, which is fake because 10 seconds later, a new card works well.Dont buy joker cards if you dont want the company stealing a part of it and making you feel like its an error from your part.
