Review Time
I had a very old oil boiler that was leaking and breaking down. Searched online and enquired with J W Heating Services over the weekend. Received a callback 1st thing Monday morning and a follow up call from John later that morning providing me a quote for a new boiler fitted. I said I was going to get another couple of quotes and would be in touch if I was going ahead. Contacted John on Monday the following week to book the new boiler fitting and was given Wednesday morning the same week.The engineers came at the arranged time, were thorough, polite and hardworking and the boiler was fitted and working later that day. The engineers tidied up after themselves.All in all a very pleasant and stress free service from start to finish from John and his company. Very Highly Recommend and I will be using them for the service on the boiler going forward.
John himself came to give me a quote. Had a Quick Look around my property, then asked me how I’m going to finance it. Felt a bit rude, but fair enough, they need paying. I said probably credit card, he offered me a booking two days later, but I said I’d have to have finance in place. I applied for finance and was told it was a 5 working day wait for a decision, so I contacted John the next day to cancel the appointment as I didn’t have the funds and didn’t want to go ahead with the costly fit without the means to pay. I was asked to go to my Expedia account and tell him my credit score so he would know if I’d been approved finance. He said he had 3 engineers with nothing to do, now bear in mind he came to see me on Tuesday, and gave a provisional appointment of Thursday, finance approved, he practically begged me to have the works done, saying, we won’t chase you for money, you’ve already said you’ve got 2k on a card and you can pay me off bit by bit, what are you going to do for hot water? and lots of tutting on the phone! Yet refused credit payment initially? I’d steer clear. I’ve since had a new boiler fitted by a really brilliant company,
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish- I would not hesitate to recommend John and his team and won’t go anywhere else now - very quick to quote and we could literally have the installation the following day - the guys turned up promptly and were very professional and helpful and cleaned everywhere before leaving - fabulous job and great pricing too - thank you 🙏🏻
Fantastic service, full boiler conversion and moved to the airing cupboard. A team of 3 turned up and worked non stop till the job was done. Was completed in just over half a day! Quality of the workmanship is fantastic. Really happy with the service and have already recommended to a few people.
My boiler was basically condemned after British Gas came to service it I called John and within two days the new boiler was fitted absolutely amazing service I will be recommending the company to all who need a service such as this :)
Highly recommend this company. Very professional from the first visit to look at the job right through to completion. John listened to our concerns about which system to choose and helped us to consider all options. Paul and George came to install our new boiler and were very hardworking, arrived on time and completed when they said they would! They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves!!!
My boiler broke down I phoned a number of companies and apart from being very reasonable I had prompt reply from John. We arranged price and start date. Engineer Mike arrived on time and was brilliant. I highly recommend this company . Honest , reliable, good work completed
Just had my old combi boiler replaced by John Wilkinson Heating Services Ltd. What a great job they did they arrived 25mins before schedule, Rick and Liam were the engineers who came to fit the new one, they were very polite and respected our property covering all areas up and cleaning up when they had finished, I would highly recommend this company and have very respectable prices and a great after service
