Utterly useless service who clearly only exist to profiteer off of providing a "service" that could be performed by estate agents themselves. Their intransigent adherence to protocol is actively hindering my move date and by extension, my ability to start a new job, for which I need to relocate in order to start. You would think that a contract of employment would be sufficient proof of employment, but no, they have to speak to someone, despite the contract being plain as day.
Such a violation of privacy, they request to open your bank account to them, bank details and account numbers, with "your consent" give them names mail addresses, telephone, your account name, and telephone, how all this is even legal in the UK? and by force or you do it or no possibility you can rent something, even with a proof of a job contract by your company.
Recieving the ark Tamo pro I was very pleased with the quality of the product and the adequate instructions. Mounting the safe proved to be easy with the provided utensils.The very customer-oriented way I was treated needs special mentioning.All in all 5 stars well earned!
I found a house that I had the money to pay for the full tenancy upfront. Unfortunately the letting agency uses KeySafe as the referencing company. They opened up an application, and closed it without requesting any documentation. They fail me. When I inquired the letting agent the reason, they said it was because I declined to provide information. KeySafe closed the application and we couldn’t upload anything. The only information they asked from me was my accountant’s email. They emailed my accountant and when they opened the email the application was already closed. They got paid for manual referencing but did nothing. Which resulted in losing a house that I can pay in full. It’s ridiculous and frustrating. The market is hard enough to find suitable properties to rent and then comes scammers like them to steal people’s money.
They are awful! It is very difficult to fill their form, to navigate through it if it has a blip. It feels extremely unsafe in the age of such high cybercrime. They say the form takes 4 mins to complete but it's an utter lie!I wish no letting agency would use them. The worst experience I've ever had.
Was asked to give a reference for a tenant, clicked on the link & it stated i have completed the reference (i did not complete it) i called them, emailed them & completed an online contact form. They never replied!!Unreliable company, avoid at all costs
If there was an option for zero stars, KeySafe would have it. Hands down the worst experience ever.We are two weeks in and the agency still doesn't have their "report". We are matter of days away from moving - we have served our notice in our current place and have begun making arrangements to move with no indication of when we will be able to sign, despite handing over evidence of more than adequate funds over and over.KeySafe's communication is abysmal - we literally can't tell which have been "penned" by a human or a robot and they take a century to respond to the briefest of questions. You are not able to contact by phone, of course. Its "automated form" is glitchy and awkward and makes it impossible to useful information and associated documents (such as proof of income if it's from more than one employer).Despite having gone through this process before KeySafe existed (or became so widely used) - yes, we have also been renting our current place for many years - we have never felt so disrespected and so vulnerable.We, as tenants, have no choice what vetting mechanism the letting agent uses (and our agency has been as helpful as I believe is possible, helping to speed things along) but, if you are a letting agency, please avoid this unnecessary stress for both you and your tenants by not choosing KeySafe. I'm sure it looks appealing on paper, but even for mildly complex cases, I doubt you will save time and money.If, in the future, we find ourselves moving (hopefully not once we finally secure this place), we would seek to avoid any agency / private landlord that uses KeySafe.Agents - please check these reviews!
