Kia Finance is the worst company ever…I have been trying to resolve a problem about my auto loan for over a month now..I keep getting told that I will get a call back from their corporate office and never got a call back..This very frustrating, They will call you and email you about a payment that’s due but when your trying to reach out to the customer service department for other questions I keep getting the run around..I don’t recommend anyone to go through KiaFinance very unprofessional and you can’t get anything resolved…

I had a dealership outright forge a signature on my paperwork. When I called Kia Finance and Kia Consumer Affairs, they did nothing, literally, well, other than tell me I should talk to the dealership myself. They do not care about dealerships with their name on them being 100% crooks.

Left Kia for Ford

After only 1.5 years with Kia, we went back to Ford. After a manufacturers defect left us without a car for over a week, we were left to pay out of pocket for a rental. The van was a brand new, top of the line Carnival we paid almost 60K for and, despite asking, there was no offer to give us a discounted rate, a car off the lot or cover the rental. While I understand this is Kia’s “rule”, good customer service says you provide folks with something as a “good faith” gesture. In addition to this, the explanation we got for what caused the problem was a load of bull. We were told our battery kept dying because we would walk by the van with our key fob and it caused the lights to come or it could also be caused by keeping our key fob at the front door. In what world does that make ANY sense?!? Our issue was a known problem with Kia and, yet, they have no desire to fix it or investigate further. We finally traded in the van for a Ford Bronco Sport, received a top notch warranty package and guarantee of a car to cover should the Bronco have to come in for any manufacturer defects. We also received a top notch interest rate. The frustrating part in all of this? Kia doesn’t accept anything but physical cheques so Ford had to MAIL them the cheque like we are in the 1990s again. So, ahead of the holidays and during a time when Canada Post is at its least reliable, Ford sent them a cheque. I have received two calls saying we are past due on our payments for the van and despite explaining we no longer own the van, they refuse to call Ford Finance saying they don’t deal with third-parties. How hard is it to look up a phone number and call? This is the exact reason we left. I should have gone with my gut when we walked into the Kia dealership and everything felt performative. I will never, ever buy a Kia again because, while the van was AMAZING, the service left everything to be desired.

DO NOT FINANCE THROUGH KIA FINANCE…

DO NOT FINANCE THROUGH KIA FINANCE AMERICATimeline of trying to make a payment:No autopay for 6 months unless you mail a physical check. Dealership never mentioned this or offered to set it up.First payment "failed" despite correct info and funds in account. Bank shows no attempted debit. Got charged a late fee anyway. Rep had no explanation.Website date picker is broken. Grayed out, can't select dates, can't type values. Looks like Flash-era software.Tried to set up autopay today. Clicked Continue. Page scrolls to top. No error message. Nothing. Disabled ad blocker to troubleshoot - 9 trackers loaded instantly. Site can't process payments but CAN surveil you.Called them. Robot repeats "Say yes when you get the text" three times before revealing other options. Does not detect screaming. Finally routed to a third-party payment processor with its own privacy policy I had to agree to just to pay my facking bill.Paying with a human on the phone? That costs extra too.Meanwhile, my dealership (Garden Grove Kia) pushed hard for a perfect score on Kia's internal survey in exchange for a free tank of gas - before I'd experienced any of this. Those internal metrics are worthless. The system is designed to capture good ratings before reality hits.Finance through a credit union. Finance through your bank. Finance through literally anyone else. The car might be fine. Kia Finance will make you pay for it in more ways than one.

Stole money not authorized from my bank

I bought my car on the first week November payment was made of $8,000.00 from my savings. I had gotten hit and my car was totaled so I bought the new one. They claimed the money never came i told them I sent it the payment was only t I be 468.00 she insisted on putting it through again my bank called me saying I had till ten yo get them the money so my brother rushed it up there and I was charged $30.00. Then in December I paid $5,000.00 on the 8th then on the 10th I received an email telling me I owed them an $8,000.0) payment by the 10th I called them telling them what my payment was set up as and I paid the $5,000.00 they said i was a lier and took the payment for $8,000.00 I only owed for payoff $7,200.00 they have the car paid off but on the 14th they sent notice to the credit bureau that I owe $12,169.00 and they refused to correct the mistake. I am going to have higher insurance for having outstanding loan. Plus I am under the care of seven specialists to stay alive I do not want this stress.

Kia customer care so incompetent!

Kia customer care is so incompetent!! I called numerous times regarding my cancelled extended warranty refund to be told that it was going to be issued to me to only find out after months of chasing it down between the Kia dealer and Kia finance to find out it will not be a refund!! I went by what they told me and now I'm out money their customer service reps said was coming to me.... during the holidays!! So dissatisfied with them!! DON'T BELIEVE THE CUSTOMER CARE REPS....THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!

I don’t like this company

I don’t like this company. This company has not been honest with me. They double charge me and say that my payment is due after it’s already been paid and I can provide a confirmation number. Kia Finance continues to double charge me and I don’t feel comfortable at all with this company

I wanted to share my situation with Kia Finance

I wanted to share my situation and see if anyone else has run into something similar with Kia Financial Services.I leased a Kia Niro on 10/15/2021, with the lease ending on 10/15/2025. I decided to return the vehicle about four months early, and Kia’s initial letter indicated that—besides a $400 lease-end fee—I’d be responsible for roughly $1,400, with a more detailed breakdown to come later.Since returning the car, I learned that it was already sold, yet I’m still receiving system notifications about it. Then, just two days after my original lease maturity date (10/17/2025), I received a collection notice saying I’m in default for the entire four months of remaining lease payments plus the $400 fee. From a practical and fair standpoint, I don’t understand how Kia can charge me for lease payments on a car they’ve already resold. It also directly contradicts their earlier communication about the $1,400 total.Has anyone here experienced something similar? How did Kia handle it, and were you able to get the charges corrected? Thanks in advance — I really appreciate any insight from people who’ve dealt with Kia or other leasing companies in similar situations.

The worst experience you can have

Nothing’s worse than wasting two hours talking to a machine before finally getting a real person who fixes everything in five minutes. Please, hire humans and ditch the useless bots!hine.
