Review Time
I had a subscription for several years and recently cancelled. The quality has gone down, and sizes have gotten really inconsistent. I wasn't charged for my February subscription and reached out asking about it, sent a follow up a week later, and never heard back. During the Canada Post stoppages, they kept charging for the subscriptions and "mailing" them. Both of those packages were lost. When a second stoppage looked possible, I emailed them asking how they were going to handle it because there was nothing on their website, and they said they would carry on as normal.
You get some cute pairs, but it's really not worth it. They don't seem to have a grasp on customer service or business planning (seriously- who doesn't come up with a plan when there's a postal strike when they're a mail-based business?).
The low price of their underwear reflects the poor quality of the materials. I received a surprise pack in pink, and upon opening it, I immediately felt that the fabric would not be comfortable. All the underwear is made from spandex and polyamide, which raises a red flag for me when it comes to underwear. While polyamide might offer some breathability, it is a synthetic fiber and not what women’s underwear should be made of, which is cotton. Most of the styles were not appealing to me, and many were sheer, lace, or g-string types that I will need to discard or donate, as they are just not practical. I can't be too disappointed with the styles since it was a mystery pack; however, I had hoped for better quality. It seems they might filter reviews heavily, as I had the impression they offered good quality and were well-received. I definitely should have looked for reviews outside of the platform before making a purchase.
The reason they flaunt how cheap their undies are is because its made with BAD/CHEAP material.I ordered the pink surprise pack. Immediately opening the packages and feeling the material, I knew it was not going to be something I'd enjoy wearing. All undies given are made out of spandex and polyamide. This is an immediate red flag for me when talking about undies. Although polyamide may be a little breathable, it is a synthetic fiber and not the same as cotton, which is what underwear SHOULD be made out of for women. Most of the styles they gave me were not cute at all(IMO), and half of them were fully sheer, lace, or g-string underwear I will have to throw out / donate, because they are just not practical for me. I can't be too upset about the styles and type since I ordered the mystery pack; however, I really was hoping for a little better quality. They must heavily filter their reviews as, I was under the impression that they were good quality and well liked. I definitely should have checked reviews outside of the website BEFORE buying.
I bought two mystery bundles during their big sale, excited bc I have been debating buying from them for a while. I ordered the 12 pack of cotton, and the 12 pack of period friendly underwear. Easy peasy. Well, I received only 11 cotton underwear and the least period friendly underwear - lace, this weird white mesh, and thongs. Who wants to wear any of that on their heaviest days? What? The description for the period friendly even specifically states, non-thong. I digress. So I contact customer support, and Emily, was honestly the least helpful person in the world. I was asked to send photos, and sure enough she goes (paraphrased) "Yeah, that looks like you got the right assortment." WHAT. never in my 28 years. She then states that a pair of the cotton were considered period friendly. IN THAT CASE - I should have received the 14 pairs of cotton, because mind you they shorted me a pair anyways. So anyways, awful first experience with them and I wish I looked up reviews before pulling the plug because that is literally so annoying. ATP it's not about the underwear, it is the principle of it all. Give your customers what they ordered and don't try to gaslight them <3
I ordered on the 2nd of January, and when ordering their estimated delivery date was the 8th of Jan. The tracking number was finally generated on the 7th of Jan, but they still sat in their warehouse. I chased, as I'd ordered to a different address where I was staying, and was told it could take 11 business days for processing and delivery - which is fine, if they'd told me that when ordering! They finally arrived, and despite them all being the same size, I can't get a few pairs up over my thighs - they are clearly badly made and not to the same size. I'm glad I only paid £1 a pair, and won't be reordering.
So I just lace an order nearly 4 weeks ago the first set never arrived they were out of stock and failed to inform me, they said they would send replacements because of a postal struck and still no delivery. My patience had run out and I have initiated a dispute
I placed a 36-pair order during Knotty’s $2 sale on Nov 18. On Nov 23, I got a cheerful email saying my order had shipped with a tracking number.Except… it didn’t.Because on Nov 26, I received another email telling me part of my order is actually sold out. So someone explain how my order was “shipped” 3 days ago when the items literally did not exist. The tracking number has zero movement because nothing was ever sent. And then the cherry on top:“We want to compensate you according to your preference.”Their definition of “compensation”?Pick a different color or item of the same price. That’s not compensation — that’s just them scrambling to fix a mistake after pretending everything was shipped. No refund. No partial credit. No actual make-right.Just “Oops, our bad, pick something else.”To make things worse, this completely contradicts their own policy:“At Knotty, we strive to process your orders swiftly, usually within 1–3 business days. Once processed, you can expect delivery within approximately 4 to 8 business days.”Nothing about this experience matched that. Not the processing. Not the shipping. Not the honesty.Definitely not the “compensation.”The whole thing feels sloppy, misleading, and like they hoped customers wouldn’t notice. If you’re going to send fake shipping confirmations, at least don’t follow them up with “sorry, we never actually had your items in the first place.”This was a disaster. Do better.
I've ordered twice for quite a few pairs and they are really nice. I asked for a preference and they said they'd do what they could to make that happen and then one order didn't arrive and they sent a replacement. Amazing customer service!
