Absolute rubbish

Absolute rubbish. Nothing like what is advertised. Cheapest of cheap wood. Took absolutely ages to ship. And customer service non existent.Do not buy from this company.

UPDATE 24/11/25Communication has improved and looks like I am getting my refund.I will delete this review and write a positive one as soon as refund has been received - they have confirmed now a full 100% refundThank youREFUNDS ARE MADE TO BE IMPOSSIBLEORDER NUMBER: 801227So i ordered over £860 worth of items, and straight after (within a minute) i started the cancelation process - which is not easy!So i decided to start a dispute case with PayPal. Finally, Lakiq have agreed to refund me, and have agreed to discount their 10% handling fee to 5%. Even though i cancelled when there bsuiness was closed in China and they had not started processing, i just want an easy life so agreed to the 5% handling fee.However, they are now telling me i must cancel the paypal dispute first before they can issue the refund - even though they have confirmed the order has been canceled, wont be shipped, and a full refund minus 5% handling fee will be issued straight away.Pay Pal have said they can still do the refund, and on the dispute show proof of refund, or just state to pay pal we have both agreed the refund with the reduced handling 5% fee and then pay pal will close the case. They wont do this and say i have to cancel, which sounds unbelivable, which PayPal agrees with, as all sellers/retailers would usually do this. I have spoken to a lawyer as i can see 1.5 stars out of 5 for reviews and many people never get a refund. Not forgetting that its taken 20+ emails to get to this point after offering me disocunt after disocunt rather than cancelling and a refund.If someone from high up in Lakiq is reading this i would love to hear why you cannot contact paypal re our agreement like every other company, because how can i trust you will do it if i cancel given how many unhappy customers you have?!I see you do reply to some reviews, so lets see - all you need to do is confirm to paypal via the dispute case that you have agreed the refund and that you have already cancelled the purchase, which i have emails confirming form your teams, the case will be closed.You seem to make things so difficult which is why there is a trust issue here.Once this is done, i will be happy to post a positive review of how you did the right thing.HOW CAN I RISK CANCELLING THE DISPUTE AND NEVER HEARING FORM YOU AGAIN, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND OWNERS AND MOTHER COMPANIES, IT SEEMS YOU ARE VERY GOOD AT MISLEADING, OR NOT SENDING OUT PRODUCTS, OR DAMAGED PRODUCTS, MISSING PARTS, AND IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A REFUND!!! JUST TELL PAYPAL THAT YOU HAVE AGREED THIS AS THEY ARE WIATING AND I HAVE ADDED YOUR CANCELATION CONFIRMATION AND REFUND CONFIRMATION EMAILS TO THE DISPUTEThis has been 3 days of hard work!I will also soon give my bill of lawyers to pay pal. It should not be this hard!!!

Order No. 801227 - GIVE ME A REFUBD - NOT EVEN PROCESSED _ ORDERED ! HOUR AGO - MUST BE A SCAM - LOOK AT ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, AND HERE IS ANOTHER....Maybe this is the only way to get your attention, if you organise my full refund now, i will delete this and update the review.I ordered something over an hour ago, yet it wouldn't let me cancel, after seeing the reviews. I spoke to your online chat who wont let me cancel because i started a dispute with PayPal, and said i must email - which i have.I cancelled the order minutes after making it, this is at no cost to you, no handling, no logistics. But the cancel button says i cant cancel. I do not want to wait 50+ days as i need the 8 chairs before Christmas (costing almost £900) (as it seems everything is delayed with your deliveries - and yes, you say its not in your power, just your delivery partners, so with so many bad reviews, maybe only deliver to China!) The reviews also say everything is either damaged or mossing, then people wait more months for a replacement or you offer partial discount which will be no use to me as i couldn't match the missing chairs... therefore I WANT A REFUND NOW!!! Your online chat team say i have to be patient and wait for the email response because it was 3am in China or wherever they are, and no one is at work yet, but i will get my refund (i have the screenshots as proof of what they said). It still says processing because you wont even know the order is in until you go to work... so just do the right thing, reply to my request and refund asap - then i can use the money on medical bills for my family rather than throw it away on 8 chairs that might never arrive, or arrive in one piece.I expect a reply, a refund, and then i will in turn do the right thing and delete this review or update it for something positive.

My First Lakiq Order

The whole process was more seamless than expected. The tracking updates were spot-on, and the delivery window was accurate (major points for that!). The packaging was robust, protecting the sideboard perfectly. Unboxing was a breeze, and it’s gorgeous. 5 stars for you guys.

***DO NOT BUY FROM HERE***UK trading standards involved due to selling a chair with flammable fabric which breaches UK health and safety laws.The chair is so bad.I cannot tell you how shocking it is. It looks like it was made my someone who put together scraps of fabric and materials such as foam and chicken wire together. Please do not waste any money here. They will refuse any refund request because they operate a below par Temu shop. Yes, worse and lower in quality than Temu! Spend a few more £/$/€ and go for a REPUTABLE retailer. There are plenty of good ones in China. Just not Lakiq.

I am so impressed with the sheer quality of the Lakiq storage shelf I ordered. The materials used are clearly high-grade, and the construction is meticulous—it’s heavy, sturdy, and the finish is flawless. I'll definitely be checking Lakiq first for all my future furniture needs as i love their selections.

Really really bad experience. Ordered desks for my children for school year start. It's been almost three months still haven't arrived. I wish I read the reviews before the order. No phone number, no customer service at all. Very very bad company.

Do not buy from this company I have been waiting over 6 months for a item I ordered and they cant even tell me where it is just say they will send it but never do. They have taken my $799 aud and run with it. Very disappointed. - There reply after 10 emails and saying my package was destryed and they will send destroyed package if I like -According to the cancellation policy, a 40% order processing fee will be charged (only 60% of the order amount will be refunded, and delivery will not be made).

They tried to take of money from my bank account. I have now just a problem with my bank to pay something. Don't buy nothing at all from them. Need to wait for my new card. Avoid a shopping with Lakiq.com
