Always pleasant and generally a positive experience when interacting with the customer service team. Occasionally, the response takes a bit longer than anticipated (approximately three days), but when they do reply, they have been extremely helpful.
12 days, no bag, no communication- It's been 12 days since I ordered the bag, - the subsequent email confirmation stated the bags are sent out within 24-48 hours with notification and - shipping takes 5-12 business days It's been 12 days since I ordered the bag (order number 6934 on 18 Nov) and have followed up via emails but there's been no response to my emails, no notification of the bags being shipped and no tracking information (if they were shipped).This is very unprofessional and I am not sure if this is legit now.
I ordered the grand in black saffiano , and the quality exceeded my expectations . The leather feels great and the bags keep its shape very well even when empty for me that's one of its main advantage compared of the other bags. it has become my everyday office bag
I'am honestly extremely upset writing this. I backed La Mansio’s Kickstarter because I believed in their vision and watched the roll out of the previous project. It seemed like the perfect work bag, I loved the practicality of it and the upgrades that were going to be made from the previous version. I waited months past the original delivery date, mine arrived about three months late, and I was so excited to finally receive it around my birthday. The bag was marketed as a multifunctional “all-in-one” product, with the backpack function being one of its key advertised features. When I checked it properly, I realised the hardware for the backpack straps had been stitched in the wrong place. The bag cannot be used as a backpack without turning it upside down, which is not what was advertised and makes the product unfit for its intended purpose. It’s a manufacturing fault that affects the whole purpose of the bag. I contacted La Mansio expecting they would want to make this right. Instead, I was told that because I reported it outside their 30-day window, they wouldn’t replace it. It didn’t seem to matter that the fault is clearly a workmanship issue or that backers waited far beyond the original promised delivery date. Their “solution” was asking me to pay for a second bag, something I shouldn’t have to do because of their mistake.What made it worse was being told that “18 of the 19 features still work,” as if I should just accept the defect and be happy with a bag that isn’t what I paid for. I found that really dismissive and upsetting. The part that hurts the most is that I will never use this bag now. It’s beautiful, but it just upsets me to look at it because it reminds me of how I was treated. Imagine putting your hard-earned money into a project you believe in, waiting all that time, being super excited and then being treated like you don't matter and told you basically have to live with a manufacturing fault. As someone who also creates products myself, I could never dream of treating a customer like this, especially when the fault is so clearly not their doing.I truly hope La Mansio reconsiders how they handle backers and takes accountability for quality issues. This experience has left a really sad and bitter taste after what should have been something joyful.
Do not buy from this company! I repeat: do not buy from this company. This is a spam company… they know that a bank will process a charge and that if you don’t report it as fraud spam within 30 days then they get to keep the money and that is exactly what they intend to do: keep you entertained for 30 days until you no longer have the runway with your bank to reverse the charge. Details: I ordered a bag and asked them for shipping information (after the timeframe had passed in the original order email that said when the bag should arrive - I wanted visibility on the delay of the package and to update my expectations for when it should arrive) and they keep sending links that don’t have any clarity and have vague shipping/tracking details that can’t pinpoint where the package is or when it will arrive. If you’re lucky, they might respond to you via email, but will only send you more links that don’t work. I even received an automated email from them that said my package had shipped but when I followed up with their customer support manually via email, they told me that the package hadn’t shipped and my order was still in backlog… So then why did I get an automated email that said it had shipped? They wanted to ensure I stayed hanging on long enough for the window to pass of reporting a fraudulent charge with my bank.
