Worst company ever!!!I ordered the large wall clock on 31/12/2024. Delivery has been changed so many times that I have lost count. Just got another email this morning, delivery delayed due to shipping. Expected delivery date is now AUGUST!!!Is the item coming from the moon!I have asked for refund and I’m waiting for their response.
Ordered a parasol in April - still not arrived three months later. The order was returned to Laura James by DPD and had to call them to get it resent. This happened another TWO times despite being reassured they were going to monitor things to make sure any issues were addressed. Spent a fortune trying to get through to them on the phone to sort the order out. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
First time ordering in May 25. My friend Ryder confirmation came via email saying delivery will be 1 November. 6 months?! Seriously and you didn’t think to mention that when you took my money. No response so far from customer services as to whether this is a mistake
Appalling. Bought a single sofa bed on May 20th. We corrected an error in the postcode within 3 minutes of ordering. Despite this, the sofa bed was taken to the wrong address in another part of the country. Subsequent phone calls and emails involving both Laura James and Evri did not resolve the problem despite Laura James claiming that post code had been amended correctly. Due to poor communication and lack of resolution, we insisted on a refund on 27th May. No reply to our email. Emailed again on 28th May, still no reply. Phone call to Laura James, 30th May. Was told that our refund was dependent upon the courier, Evri, returning the sofa bed which we had never received in the first place! Where is our money and will we be given back the accruing interest Laura James have received on our payment?Order number 591634.Date of experience: 20 May 2025
First time ordering from Laura James and putting the garden furniture together and the wood has split in 3 areas. Now it’s time to see what Laura James do? Disappointing but let’s hope they put things right.🙏Still not received the correct replacement parts over a month of waiting now. I will not use this company again.
Terrible experience throughout. Order arrived 5 days late, and three large pieces of the wardrobe were really damaged. Tried to call, though were hung up on every time. Eventually email complaint worked, however we were only offered to replace those parts- taking more than 1 more month to deliver/collect. Eventually decided to return and get a full refund, but yet to be refunded, and delivery for collection was delayed yet again. Terrible customer service - avoid!
