The doctor I spoke to listened and took an interest in my problem. She asked questions and gave my possible reasons for my health issue. She also suggested some over the counter medicine that would help and she messaged this to me during the call. She also suggested I ask for an additional test to be done when I have my next blood test in two days time - she did say that she would send a message to the GP practice.I was very impressed by how efficiently everything was done and the advice given to me. But most importantly she put my mind at ease.
I had a GP consultation on Livi at the cost of £59, because NHS GPs only give phone consultations and I have been worried about ongoing tingling in my feet for which I have not been able to get proper assessment. The Livi doctor treated me with contempt from the start, implied I had anxiety about health, confirmed to her by the fact that I looked up the side effects of a medication I was prescribed(and in fact turned out to be a powerful antidepressant which I decided not to take) She then said I needed to be examined physically by doctor and said she would contact my GP to adice them to that effect, it would take hern24 hours to do so. I contacted my GP 4 days after the Livi consultation and they had had no referal from Livi. So basically, I threw £59 away for absolutely Nothing.
