Awful experience. First appointment was 15 minutes early and rang once before hanging up on me and claiming I was a no show. Second appointment was rescheduled to an inconvenient time where I was at work and that meant my child could not be with me which is the rule if the appointment is for them. Rescheduled it but the app wouldn't allow my voice to be heard when using earphones. Taking earphones out meant I was able to be heard but there was a delay with the call which meant a conversation was impossible. I will not be using this service again.
I regularly use Livi for my GP appointments as it is so much easier than trying to get an appointment through my surgery. The Doctors are helpful, kind and understanding and I never have to wait more than a few days for an appointment. It’s fairly easy to see the same GP if you have an ongoing issue. My most recent experience was extremely positive and the GP displayed a high level of empathy as well as in-depth medical knowledge about my issue.
Yes you can access help and medical advice as you are speaking to a GP, but most of the time they advise you to go to A&E to be checked again when you already came from there traumatised because of the long wait and be advised to go home and take paracetamol and ibuprofen and if it gets worse to go back. For what when the person is already there? This NHS system is just playing ping-pong. Toss the patient to this then home then back. It doesn't help
It was so easy to make an appointment, upload photos to show the issue and write my symptoms down. The call came within 5mins of the 20min time slot given and the doctor on the line was friendly and understanding. She ran some security checks at the start of the call to make sure it was me and sent a prescription at the end direct to my chosen chemist. Second time I’ve used this service and would recommend.
Another beneficial appointment. This service is excellent as one can book to see a GP at a day/time that suits you. The GP was very professional and reassuring. My records at the surgery were updated as soon as I signed off. This is a 1st class service.
