When a pars or a paps is refused for what ever reason, the transport company has no way to know, unless the broker sends, an email which is never the case, to advise, so we can do the necessary to fix the situation. We need to call the broker to find out the issue, and often the driver is already at the border waiting to cross.
The service we receive from the branches is always exceptional. They provide us exceptional customer service by really understanding team work, being friendly, patient, extremely knowledgeable, timely and professional. They are always available quickly to answer question and offer comprehensive guidance as well as anticipate issues before they take place. They always take the time to walk us through the process of what we need and explain anything that we need explained. The attendants always take the time to go above and beyond to provide their services and assist us during times of stress. We never have a day of inactivity on the road, because of the phenomenal service they provide. Their commitment to excellence is obvious and we would recommend them to anyone.
St Stephen NB & Houlton ME offices are our saving grace! We have had many problems in the past with Livingston and often do not get a response, but, thankfully, the St Stephen NB is watching out for us. The St Stephen office is terrific and I would give them 5 stars for all their hard work. Other teams, and locations, I find lack severely in responding to emails, answering the phone, or, even bothering to reach out to us if there is a problem.We often do not know the Livingston team or email of crossing point to reach out directly for help and the call centre is of little use (the call centre script & working knowledge of Livingston’s role needs to be revamped). If the team would do their job in a timely manner for both the US and Canadian side we would not have to bother them. Some teams have gotten better, but, it is usually only after we get the customer involved. E-Log and customer delivery requirements/expectations have become more demanding and challenging for our drivers. Livingston typically seems to have a difficult time to process in a timely manner, which is important when our trucks load close to the border; we have often had processing times over their three hour time limits. We would prefer not to have to reach out to supervisors, direct Livingston offices and our/your customers, but we are often left with no choice when we are trying to satisfy customer expectations and E-Log requirements.We look forward to seeing improvements.
The driver contact center can sometimes be difficult. But the office in St Stephen NB has been an extremely helpful and our customers are informed of this often. Their level of service is top notch. ALL of the staff is very helpful and willing to put in 110% to ensure a timely clearance and limit our waiting time to as low as possible.
The Livingston office in Oldcastle Ontario is excellent. We never have an issues getting freight cleared quickly. They are always very helpful. Always willing to go out of their way to assist us clear quickly so that our trucks are not delayed at the border. They will contact us promptly in the event that our paperwork is incomplete. I highly recommend the office in Oldcastle
we have had many problems in the past with Livingston - but now we have Niagara Falls in charge of watching out for us.. they are terrific in that office.. and they are the reason for 4 stars.. other teams, and locations, i find lack severely in responding to emails, or even answering the phone, and reaching out to us if there is a problem.
