Love holidays should be shut down

Love holidays should be shut down. After my wife booked an aqua park holiday in turkey and then finding out the aqua park was shut on our arrival date. My wife contacted love holidays to cancel as we wanted slides for the kids. We were told the hotel could be cancelled but not the flights. So an alternative hotel was found and we were told it was a better hotel than the one we had previously booked. I don’t know who reviewes the hotels for love holidays but I think it was Stevie wonder. There is no way the hotel was 4 star more like half a star. We have complained and told no refund will be given. We responded that it would be taken further and had a reply offering £350 per family as we booked two rooms. The holiday cost £3000 per family. Absolutely disgusting response. Please ppl do your research on hotels and don’t use love holidays. Tui are trying to get the hotel taken off there list. Stay away from mirage world in icemelar!!!! Shit hole staff are revolting ppl.

What a joke!

My husband and I are kinda of a regular customers — we’ve booked three holidays with LoveHoliday in under a year (but maybe it’s not enough- who knows).Unfortunately, our most recent trip to Corfù turned into what can only be described as a full-blown survival challenge, minus the fun camera crew, bug spray, or prize money.I first tried to speak to the hotel reception about our (several) issues, but we were repeatedly dismissed — as if complaining about not being able to sleep was some sort of exotic hobby of ours. After two terrible nights, when we finally gave up and booked new flights home (yes, out of our own pockets), suddenly the hotel decided they could offer us a room or hotel change. Lovely timing. Unfortunately, we were already halfway to the airport.I then decided to raise the issue with LoveHoliday, who refused any compensation for the two sleepless nights, saying — and I quote — “It’s not like changing a towel. A top mattress takes time and it was delivered the next day.”To clarify:We were in a double bed. They provided ONE single mattress topper.Next issue: The insects. The hotel was apparently “surrounded by natural environment” so according to them, it was normal to have wasp 🐝 in September. Wait…. We landed on the 15th of October, well past “mosquito season”. Yet we found them in our BREAKFAST, LUNCH, and DINNER PLATE. My husband was stung, and unless the hotel is secretly operating as a wildlife sanctuary, this is not normal for a supposed 4-star resort. Then there was the bathroom, which appeared to be in its early stages of construction. The drain didn’t work, and we were told they had “fixed the issue” — after we had already flown back to London. Very helpful. WiFi situation? The website advertised WiFi in communal areas. The communal areas were closed, because it was literally raining inside. So apparently, our holiday was meant to consist of being locked in our room with no internet, one TV channel, and a mattress topper designed for one half of one person. For five nights. So yes — we would have expected a proper compensation for a holiday that quickly turned into a sleep-deprived jungle camp experience. We were expecting a relaxing break, not The Hunger Games: Corfu Edition.

Love Holidays transfer: AVOID USING: UPDATE

Dear Amy,Love Holidays clearly need to improve their internal communication, as I received a response to my review four days ago! It would be advisable to read the internal notes and verify the facts before responding with statements such as “we are unable to locate your booking with the information provided.”I have, once again received a standard response from Sizew K. on 08.11.25, stating that I was at fault for the incorrect vehicle being sent. What I find confusing is that your company was able to provide the correct vehicle from the airport to the hotel, a large black minivan taxi (as I had booked) that comfortably seated all adults with luggage in the boot. It is therefore unclear how my original booking could have been made incorrectly.Your representative claims I booked a Toyota Corolla, which is not suitable for eight suitcases. However, the minivan I booked could accommodate four 20kg suitcases and four pieces of hand luggage, exactly what was required for our return journey. Incidentally, I also requested that a copy of the booking confirmation be sent to me, yet unsurprisingly, your company has failed to provide it, simply insisting that I booked the wrong vehicle. This is typical of a company attempting to obscure its own error.I’ve since spoken to other travel agents and friends who have had similar experiences and commented that your company is unwilling to acknowledge mistakes or take responsibility. I’ve also read numerous customer reviews stating that complaints are either left unresolved or unfairly resolved in your favour. Clearly, you have little regard for your customers or their safety. As noted in my previous email and review, I will be reporting this safety issue to the relevant authorities.RegardsMiss D Woznicka

Quite a difficult website to use got there eventually but I had to change dates in my holiday and they won’t sort out the flights. Had to rebook at a loss my flights and change hotel to a different room. Don’t think I would use them again

No customer service! Hotel was not paid

I used this company many times. It used to be good but I had issues twice now. Once in Dominican Republic when we arrived I was told our hotel wasn’t paid. Luckily that was sorted quickly. The second time was a really terrible experience. We arrived in Egypt and we were told our hotel wasn’t paid again. As it was late we were told to pay at least for 1 night and hopefully it will be ok by the morning. In the morning we were told to pay for the rest of our stay as the booking was still unpaid. I asked my daughter to help and call them as I find it hard to communicate in English over the phone. My daughter said she had very unprofessional guy answer the phone that didn’t try to help her at all. She explained the situation and asked him to at least to call us back. No one called us back. Luckily the hotel manager saw my wife in distress and stepped in to help us. The hotel staff was amazing and said we can stay and they will reach out and try to sort out the payment. I would go back to Egypt and definitely stay at the same hotel but would never again book through Love Holidays. Terrible customer service or rather non existent. I have already booked another holiday before this ordeal and I do hope I can cancel the latest trip and save myself from worry!

Holiday with delays and no luggage

I have previously held back on my review waiting for the outcome of an investigation. Needless to say the company are not at fault and will offer no compensation. SunExpress airline we’re just awful, I have been back in the UK for nearly 4 weeks now and my case remains missing. Unnecessary delays at the airport due to misinformation from Loveholidays is apparantly nothing to do with them. This is another example of you get what you pay for. Some fare better than others.
