Lumi is a dishonest service that markets itself as a personal styling service that will provide personalized outfits tailored to the customers preferences. In reality it is a “middle man” service that places orders with various fashion retailers like Commense, Meshki, Everlane, Steve Madden, and J. Crew on your behalf. This means that you place an order for a J. Crew sweater, pay the money to Lumi to place the order with J. Crew. I have had several issues where I placed an order, paid for the items, and the Lumi stylist just canceled the order and Lumi just kept my money. I had to file a dispute with the Better Business Bureau and it took over a month to get Lumi to refund me even a portion of purchase price. Additionally, Lumi did not refund the taxes I paid for the item that they canceled. Save your money. Just order through the retailers directly and get your styling advice from somewhere else. All you’ll get with Lumi is generic, advertising/focused outfits generated by AI. If you want Ai styling, there are better and less expensive alternatives. Lumi is like a Ponzi scheme for clothing. STAY AWAY!

Die App hält absolut nicht, was sie verspricht, und fungiert scheinbar nur als Werkzeug, um unberechtigt Geld einzuziehen.Der Support reagiert nicht und es gibt keine Möglichkeit, den Kauf innerhalb der App zu reklamieren. Das ist gewerbsmäßiger Betrug. Ich habe bereits eine Rückerstattung angefordert und die App gemeldet. Ladet diese App nicht herunter! I have already contacted customer care several times. Unfortunately, I only receive generic, AI-generated replies repeating the same instruction: that I should cancel the subscription via the Apple App Store.The problem is that there is no active subscription visible in my Apple account at all. Apple Support has confirmed this. The app only appears as a €0 installation, with no subscription, no renewal, and no billing information attached. So it is technically impossible for me to cancel anything via Apple.Despite this, I was charged €14 initially and later €44, without any clear explanation, without prior transparent consent, and without receiving any invoice. The subscription conditions were not clearly explained inside the app, and there was no obvious confirmation flow showing that recurring payments would be taken.Redirecting customers back to Apple without actually checking the case does not solve the issue. At this point, I expect a clear explanation of these charges, proper documentation (invoice), and a refund for amounts taken without a verifiable subscription.I am still open to resolving this properly — but not through automated responses that ignore the facts of the case.
