I was signed up without even knowing it, and I paid for two months before I caught the charge. Decided to explore the app before quitting to see what I had been paying for. Absolute garbage. The recommendations didn't match anything on my style profile, and NONE of the outfits shown actually contain the pieces shown on the model. Also, the app recommended outfits that wouldn't even fit me, there was NO option to select your own colour preferences for the items, and the range of styles available was absolutely dismal. You'd get more, and better-quality options looking at a Sears Catalogue. The QUITTING part was the best and easiest part; customer service is responsive if you email them and ask for them to cancel your subscription.
Because I had trouble with my IPad before the session I didn’t feel as prepared as I would have like. But with tech help from LUMI I was able to participate in the session. My consultant was nice and answered my questions well. I thought she would show me an outfit today so I was disappointed that it will take a few days.
I am a youngish 60 something living in New York City and so I need to look fresh and on trend, but also be age-appropriate. Lumi has really been helpful in capturing my style with all sorts of tools, including a really great session with personal Stylist sylvia thank you so much
BEWARE, I had signed up one day ago and was charged 29.99 for a limited experience. Completed my profile and took a look not seeing much at all that I liked. I live in a warm climate and all clothes were cold weather outfits. Today I reviewed my charges to find out I had also been charged 49.99 for another membership that they said I agreed to. I had not. I immediately reached out and was told too bad no refunds are available. To summarize I feel like they operate like many online sites without a shred of decency and integrity. I’ll be filing a complaint with my bank on Monday. Furthermore you can search Pinterest for FREE to get countless style ideas. Don’t believe these other reviews and always check where these online companies operate from. If I could give them zero stars I would do it.
I did not understand that I had signed up for a service with recurring charges. Lumi was extremely responsive to my situation and took care of me with care and concern to cancel my membership with them. I have never known an app oriented anything to be so kind and efficient, immediately putting my mind at ease and canceling my membership. This is a company with integrity. Thank you Lumi.
Be careful and read conditions for membership. I signed up, started answering the endless questions about my self and fashion preferences and realized this isn’t the company for me. When I attempted to cancel the membership, within minutes of signing up, the agent was responsive by email and took care of the cancellation.However I am out the $45 sign up fee no matter what. I don’t want the service, should have the ability to get a refund, especially if I didn’t use the service and cancelled within minutes of signing up. But received several polite “no”. So, be careful, don’t sign up and authorize payment if you plan to change your mind. The 2 stars are for the responsiveness of the Lumi agents, otherwise it would be no stars.
This is a scam. I tried to get on their site for help Lumi (with multiple names) kept passing the buck and never received sny help. I got charged the 17.95 and went into the subscription part, so for nothing I paid a total of $67.95The AI knows computers and lied to my discover card so BEWARE SCAM.
I found Lumi while scrolling. I took their quiz, read the few glowing reviews and decided to give it a try for 12 weeks. After answering several questions my style and suggestions were just away! After paying I got A suggestion. Just 1. I will be getting 1 suggestions a week for 12 weeks. Whoopie! Not what they tell you. If I wanted to read their guides they started at 5.99 each. If I want styling sessions, they are extra too. None of this was clear when signing up for the original 80.00. Which by the way is shown in English 80.00$. This company is ala carte not a package deal. Be prepared to be nickel and dimed for every nugget of information. Only the quiz whish you don't get answers to until you fork over money. Then their refund policy. You cannot get your money back based on personal or financial issues. Apparently me being baited and switched by Lumi ls a personal reason? Huh? To me it seems like a bad business tactic by Lumi to mislead people into paying money and not receive what was promised. Do not fall victim to them unless you plan on spending a couple hundred dollars. After posting my review of Lumi, they have decided to give me a full refund. I am leaving my review up for future customers to be aware of what to expect from Lumi.
I worked as a buyer for a big department store, and I thought of this company would help me advanced my style options. The styles were plain and I was not interested. I would never be caught dead in some of the styles they chose for me, and if I did like an item and went to buy it, the item was always sold out.
