Lyca Mobile UK Review: Disappointing Experience with International CoverageI wish I had checked reviews on Trustpilot before purchasing three SIM cards from Lyca Mobile UK. I was told they offered unlimited data, unlimited texts, and 100 minutes of free international calls, with coverage that included Egypt. However, this turned out to be completely false. Since arriving in Egypt, I’ve had no signal unless I’m connected to hotel WiFi.I’ve contacted Lyca Mobile customer service four times, but they’ve been unhelpful. Their response has been a generic apology, with no real effort to resolve the issue. Adding to the frustration, they keep sending me promotional messages when I connect to WiFi, pushing the same service I’ve already paid £75 for.As it stands, I feel scammed. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend Lyca Mobile for international use. If you’re planning to travel, avoid this service or risk being left without reliable connectivity.23/10/24 Update: sent email to the message below.. let’s see if they respond and solve this issue. I can only see a full refund of £75 that I paid for the 3 SIM cards tobe only thing that can solve this issue and free data on top so I can get my family home with no dramas .. as we only have 4 more days left .. TBC …. I’ll update result if they do respond with solution6/11/24 Update: had received email from complaint department saying they going to approve a refund to that now has been nearly 2 weeks and they are now ignoring my emails for an update.. starting to feel that they are not going to refund and this way they deal with there customers.. very frustrating and disappointing. 13/11/24 Update: it has now been since 23/10/24 that I had no response and no refund and they are ignoring all emails I have sent to the complaints department.. a multimillion pound company can’t even refund a customer that they promised and they think stick there head in the sand is the way to do it.. disgusting 24/11/24 Update: they contacted me due to all these reviews stating they were going to refund me in full… again .. that was 2 weeks ago and now ignoring my emails.. proof is in the pudding.. they are a multimillion scammers …
NO ANSWER!!!NO HELP How many times i can send an email or wright an bad review? you just answered that you are sorry and wont to help but absolutely done nothing. I gave u all information in previous review even my phone number, order and confirmation number but nothing. its as scam!
After buying lycamobile sim card and when trying to configure hotspots, the ladies that answered my calls on August 26th, 2024, were extremely helpful, understanding and nice with me. Together with Maximiano Gomes team, I was able to configure both hotspots. Excellent team work. Thank you all for your very good job.
stealing money twice no customer service no replying emails no refund admitted. i paid for a bundle of 7 days and they stolen other money before the expired date and they made a subscription. i deactivated auto renewal of the plan and top up but nodody authorized that so wasting of time and money
The hotline assistance was helpful once I've reached Miguel Silva that fairly and professionally helped me to solve my issue. Don't give up, you can be heard when dealing with customer support. I have been using Lyca for several years now. Recently I had to contact their customer service department to swap an old defective SIM card for a new one. Wileen helped me with the process. I had to answer a number of security questions. My old number has now been transferred to the fresh SIM card. Everything fine, tudo bem!
